The kitchen had coffee, tea, fruit water, coke and snakes for us to partake in to keep our brains working. I enjoyed the service of the staff who accommodated my team as we moved throughout the day. I think the unit does the job, but there's nothing particularly special about it. Pretty standard for apartment units in my opinion. Showers r small. I do not think it is worth the price especially in a recession. Yes, you do get some nice benefits living here, such as free movies. But you cannot share your vouchers with friends. If you have a unit with a balcony, that can be nice. But, make sure it's facing towards the piazza. I know that Studio Park is building a luxury tower, but until then, there is no gym available on site. The management company they have running Studio Park Lofts is less than helpful. Leasing agents are only nice before you sign the lease. Once you sign the lease they are not helpful, they are rude, and they are horrible to work with. I get it. Their lives might be busy, however, you think they would be at least polite to their residents if there is an issue within the unit. I've talked to other residents. And they have had similarly horrible experiences working with them. Maintenance is also slow to respond. Finally parking is a separate fee, which I think they could have done a better job working with ELLIS parking or the city of Grand Rapids parking. Overall, I really like the location. Who wouldn't? However, the apartment itself isn't anything special, and the horrible leasing agents make my rating of this complex low. But, if you just barely interact with the leasing agents and pray you have no maintenance issues then living here can be enjoyable.

Most aspects of the building that contained my apartment was pretty high quality. They also have a facebook page to foster a community for everyone living in the building which is pretty nice. Unfortunately the apartment is not as large as advertised. The '540 sq ft' apartment I lived in was actually no larger than 450 sq ft (not sure if that is false advertising?). It was also common for the common areas to smell like wet dog. On top of that, when I moved into my apartment the key I was given did not work so I could not access the building. They also forgot to give me a key to the mailbox on the first floor. So, the physical quality of apartments are nice because they are new (albeit a little false advertising on their size). My experience moving in really wasn't that bad but the small things that happened when I moved in seemed quite unprofessional. They indicate a bit of lazy and unprofessional behavior on the management side of things.
