The area was riddled with weeds, poison ivy, small trees and overgrowth from years of neglect. Carmen was a pleasure to work with-he and his crew took down all of the weeds and stubborn roots and cleared the large area, and then demolished the concrete (the area was a basketball court many years ago), and maintained his promised schedule . Carmen was thorough, professional, and detail oriented. We will always remember his work every time we enter our backyard -eventually, it will become an organic vegetable garden and sun deck. Thank you Carmen and Leah for all of your very valuable work! On a side note, he is also one of the kindest and most honest people we have ever had the pleasure of encountering.

New Image Restoration was hired for a fee of $1,000 plus tax to remediate a mold issue measuring 2'…read morex 1' x 2' x 1' located within the wooden structure above the bathroom ceiling (sheetrock). The contractor(s) from New Image Restoration removed and disposed of approx. 2' x 4' x 2' x 4' of the ceiling (sheetrock) that exhibited signs of mold, treated the exposed wood with a mold and mildew killer, identified the source of a leak, and recommended that I hire a plumber. I found the quality of the work to be satisfactory however, the identification of the leak was inaccurate, as no pipes were found to be leaking. The contractors were courteous and presented identification upon request before entering my home. Nevertheless, I consider the cost of the work particularly expensive for seniors given that it represents only (1) component of a (3) part job. Additionally, I was asked to sign a blank contract that stipulated a 50% charge, the cost was not explicitly detailed in the agreement. I had to inquire further to clarify this matter. Despite the fact that New Image Restoration was aware of my insurance company's $500 deductible, I was required to pay (2) both payments of $500 plus. Moreover, I began to receive multiple invoices totaling over $1,500 for services such as drywall repair, patchwork, priming, and painting, which were not performed by New Image Restoration or Super Steamer Carpet. It was also concerning to discover that New Image Restoration billed me through a subcontractor, Super Steamer Carpet, without prior notification regarding the involvement of subcontractors. Ultimately, I found it necessary to hire multiple contractors to complete the work on the ceiling mold issue. This experience has underscored the importance of inquiring about the entire scope of a project, including a comprehensive written description and a complete estimation of costs, accounting for any deductions.

When my family and I decided it was time to remove our 16'x32' inground pool, I only found a few…read morecontractors that specialized in this kind of work. When I researched RW Hartman, I found that he is the "go-to" guy for pool removals. Communication was great EVERY step along the way. He was extremely careful to avoid any collateral damage in my yard. Due to a high water table, my yard was spongey and he put down appropriate steel plating to prevent any equipment from sinking. When he dug out the pool bowl, he got a pump on it to remove the water. In just one day, he had the removal completed.. pool, fence, even the 30-year-old-shed! Then we just had to wait on the township construction inspection (required in my state, to ensure that no debris is being buried). Once we had the go-ahead, he put in some stone to stabilize the excavation. Several days of rain prevented the rest of the backfilling, but as soon as we had dry weather, he immediately pumped out, filled and compacted the hole, applied topsoil, raked and seeded. All the debris was cleaned up. I had forgotten how large my yard really was! I found Rob (the "R" in RW Hartman) to be a very friendly guy, who really cares about his work. He is a great communicator. His work is GREAT! I cannot recommend him strongly enough! I wish I could give him 10 stars!

We tried to make a go of it, but the age and condition of the pool made it a huge headache, even more work than a pool in good condition, and an absolute money pit that would keep costing us thousands every year. We made the decision to remove it, and started looking for contractors. Rob was by far an easy choice once we did our research. Responsive, helpful, straightforward, and with lots of happy customers who raved about him. We booked him, and everything went very smoothly. No surprises, and everything handled well with permits and the township. It's a nerve-racking project that calls for a really experienced contractor and Rob is the absolute best.
