Have been going here several times with different masseuse and enjoy most of their massages. Definitely a relaxing experience and they end up giving you a sweet camomille tea as you pay. Yes, they'll ask if you're okay with 15% for tip but I haven't had an incident where I wanted to change it.

Their Hammam Turkish Bath, and body treatments are also a treat. They provide you with a turkish wrap, robe, towels, and flip-flops for your visit so you don't need need bring too much with you on your visit. The use of their co-ed eucalyptus oil infused stream room (great for couples) is also complimentary with most services over $100. The exception are mainly a few facials as this can make your skin sensitive for the treatment. NEGATIVES: my experience here the past couple of years has been mixed, as the service is not as consistent as it used to be, the prices inflated quite a bit, and a lot of the staff appears to be changing more frequently than it used to. My rating for Hammam Spa fluctuates mostly between 3 and 4 based on my visits since the end of 2021 to the present. While the renovation is nice, the spa feels a little less cozy than it used to. I've also had a period of terrible service (with treatments and online orders) around the end of 2021 to early 2022, which made me take a break from this place, but things have improved since. They also recently replaced their plush white robes with shorter, thin robes made in the same fabric as their turkish wraps.

I don't personally like that and I wish there was the option. I don't want to be doing a facial with my eyes closed and listening to someone getting massaged (Painful grunts) or hearing footsteps coming back and forth. My eyes are closed, I'm wearing a towel, it kinda puts you on edge when there's so many noises and people coming in and out of the treatment room. I'd have appreciated some privacy. Or atleast if it's a couples booking, then make sure staff know not to poke their head in to ask questions/ talk to your staff. It's honestly so distracting to a relaxing experience. Massage was good. My partner enjoyed it but I think he would not choose to come back to this location. I had a lovely facial but my goodness she was rough with the extractions. I like a light extraction, but she was quite rough. Still, it was effective and I liked her. She was really nice and gave me good advice for my skin - especially considering that I don't do facials regularly. I love that they also offer SPF treatment at the end so your fresh skin is protected on your way out the door. Booking here was not the easiest thing. It was a little difficult to understand all the pages on their website, but now that I've gone through the process - I can understand their packages better. I will say, I did not like speaking with the receptionist. She's quite forceful and talks over you a lot. I wanted the answer to one simple question and she went on for almost 7 minutes. I was quite frustrated and almost didn't book because I didn't enjoy the interaction with her. Given that I don't do massages/ facials regularly, I'll opt to try a new place each time unless I'm totally wow-ed by a location. They do have good reviews, so as always, try it for yourself!

I had the worst and most disappointing massage experience at Comfort Zone Richmond Hill…read more I called the day before to book a Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) session, and the receptionist clearly confirmed a 7:15 PM appointment. When we arrived, they couldn't even find my name or appointment at first -- everything was written in a paper notebook with pen, which already showed how disorganized they are. After searching by my phone number, they finally "found" it and told us to go in. After the session, they charged us around $190 with tip and tax. When I asked for a receipt to submit to my insurance (as it was supposed to be an RMT session), they said: "You weren't booked for RMT." This was shocking because I specifically booked an RMT massage over the phone, and they confirmed it. Instead of taking responsibility for their own mistake, they simply denied it. Overall, this place is either extremely unorganized and poorly managed, or they are misleading customers intentionally. Either way, I will never return and do NOT recommend this place to anyone looking for a real RMT massage or professional service.

I was expecting heated blankets as I thought I read that somewhere on their website. They didn't have heated blankets. The massage was great. Nisha did my massage and she was very considerate and always asked if the pressure was ok. She would give warning when putting the hot towel on my back. It was a relaxing massage. As I was getting ready to leave, I noticed a bug crawl up the wall. Looked a bit closer and took a picture as it looked very much like a cockroach. After shaking off my clothes and jacket, etc. I went to pay and left. I felt very creeped out after that. I verified later that it was indeed a roach. Needless to say I will not be going back.

I think the best way to describe how Manuela treats you is she listens with her hands - she never just goes through the motions or just sticks to a checklist. While she asks you at the start where the problematic areas are, she is also always hyper-aware as she goes through the treatment on areas you never thought needed a bit more work. They start by analyzing your scalp and they provide insight of your scalp. Then, then they take you to your room for your head massage treatment. My masseuse, Judy was very kind and made sure to massage all the right spots for those relaxing moments. From the point of when you eye mask is placed, you will get the serenity moments from the right amount of pressure that applied on your scalp, next and shoulders. The AI Shampoo experience was also quite cool and interesting. They programmed the system according to the data from your scalp and they can adjust the water temperature. What was so interesting was they do provide earplugs so that no water can get into your ears while the machine does its work while your are getting a massage from the automated massage table. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish and I recommend this spot to everyone! I can't wait for the next experience!
