I don't understand why there's so many positive reviews. Aside from the place being very small and old inside, and the service being below average, what I'm most mad about is the amount of oil they dumped in my hair. I did the scalp massage, and expected my hair to be oily after but not to this extent. Instead of putting the oil in her hands, she poured it from a bottle all over my scalp. My roots were completely soaked in oil. I got home and shampooed my hair 6 times. 6 times in the shower. And it doesn't look any better. Definitely don't book this. I added a picture of my hair after washing it. Completely dry. Just so oily. read more

I was warmly greeted after Taylor met me at the door, shown to the changing room where I got into a robe and slippers, and locked my belongings in a locker. The changing room is small and adjacent to another room with a shower and amenities, but as long as you're only one person there (and I was), it is fine. I was offered mimosas and charcuterie which my company provided for us, but I understand they normally offer coffee or tea. I was shown to a room and had a wonderful 80-minute, hot stone massage with Marianne. She was sweet and very accommodating to my pain points. She talked, but not too much. The jazz in the background was nice. I had the opportunity to use their pool and outdoor hot tub either before or after my treatment but my husband is with me in Breckenridge and I wasn't able to get him an appointment, so I didn't want to keep him waiting for me any longer. I was told that he could have used the pool and hot tub while he waited for me...I wish someone had told me that earlier. He walked me over to the spa and went back to our resort to wait for me when he could have stayed and enjoyed something too. So that was a bit disappointing. I am so thankful that came to the Bracer Run spa today. After a significant ski accident I needed some TLC. Tracy was so welcoming and came outside to escort me directly into the parking garage. Maryann was so caring and helped me understand how my body was reacting to my fall. Her massage skills were a 10 and I felt extremely cared for. I did one of their seasonal packages. I also had some downtime in between services to enjoy the outdoor heated pool and hot tubs. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. My husband set me up with one of the massage specials. Arlan (sp?) the masseuse was good, he asks the right questions and adjusts accordingly. Tracie, the person who initially greeted me was also very nice. The biggest need for improvement is the space itself. It is in a basement and it feels like a basement. The outdoor space is close to the road and leaves something to be desired. The salt water pool was not working and I believe only one of the hot tubs was working. Little things make it feel a bit grubby and dated.. for example, the curtain between the locker room and bath room is safety pinned off the floor. The showers never got hot and sprayed out of the connection where the shower head is attached. The ceiling is fairly low and is drop ceiling material. Most spas I have been at I am offered a mimosa or tea, here it's just water. So, overall, I would recommend the masseuse but the environment itself could use a good amount of maintenance to elevate the experience. read more

I was offered nothing. I got a 60 min spirit of the summit.l and the massage itself is the only reason I am giving this review two stars. If you are paying $135 plus tip for a message you should be getting an experience. All I got was a massage... I walked in, got my massage given water and shown the door. I'm applauded at what I paid to just get the bare minimum like that. I have paid less than that for better treatment. I have a young daughter so I could barely sleep the night before thinking how excited I was to get a morning to relax and to myself. So shame on me for getting too excited for this because it made the let down all the greater. Update: I have a note below from the manager. I never write reviews on Yelp. This is my very first one. I visited the Spa at Beaver Run with friends today and my experience was absolutely phenomenal. I was booked with a therapist called Amy. I had an Ashiatsu massage that was insanely relaxing. Plus, whenever I told Amy that I hurt somewhere she would stop what she was doing and address that area. My friend also had Amy and asked for a gentler massage. Amy delivered and spent extra time with her recommending stretches for her particular issue. The hot tub and the salt water mineral pool were also pretty relaxing. And then, as if that wasn't enough, I left stuff at the spa. How about I got a call about it and Amy brought my stuff to me at the restaurant. You just don't get service like this anymore. read more

This was our first visit to Breckenridge and Beaver Run and I must say we were very pleased. From the minute we walked into facility and our room everything was clean, neat and perfect. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help out with whatever you needed or asked for. The hotel providers a bus service to and from town including City Market for all your grocery needs. Each bus makes stops at each building so there is no need to have to walk to the main building just to catch it. Also once in town you can use the phone number on the back of your room key to call them and arrange a pick up. We never waited more than 10 minutes for the bus to arrive and pick us up which was great in the cold ski weather. The room we stayed in was a Colorado suite in building #4 and was super comfy and cozy. We had more than enough space to feel like we were right at home including a huge tub, small kitchen and warm fireplace with fire wood provided. The staff kept the room organized and clean each and every day with no issues what so ever. The best thing about building #4 is that everything you need is there including a convenient locker room for all your gear on the bottom floor. Once you put your gear on its a simple thirty foot walk to the other side of the locker room where you can walk out the sliding glass doors and onto the slopes. From their its approx 100 yard ski down to the main area of the slopes including the first lift.This building provides the best opportunity for ski in/ski out skiing. Building #4 has its own pool and large hot tub so you never have to walk to the main area to enjoy the hot tub after a long day on the slopes. Just simply leave your gear in your locker sneak up to your room to change and back down to hit the hot tub for a awesome soak!!! Like I stated before I would not hesitate to stay here again and I plan on it next season. I will most certainly make it a point to stay in building four as so you should too.. read more

This was the massage experience I dreamed about all day on the ski slopes. Everything was extraordinary from start to finish. I was greeted in a clean and beautiful reception area with wine, tea, and water. The changing rooms were recently renovated with the softest towels ever and soap that I want to buy for my home. I soaked in the Himalayan salt hot tubs for ever... forget non-sensory experiences, just go to Beaver Run. My massage with Amber was really good. I had a 25 minute facial and 25 minute massage. The two spa employees who performed the services were fantastic, and I would give them 5 stars, but the rest of the spa "experience" was a 1 star (at best). I arrived per their request 15 minutes early and waited 10 minutes for anyone to come the front desk area. When the person arrived, she said someone will be with you shortly. A couple minutes later I was shown to a different lobby area. Usually, water is offered at a spa and they show you to a locker room. That didn't happen. When the person scheduled to do my facial arrived she was kind enough to offer to get me a robe and was surprised that I was in my normal clothes. My massage was excellent but I could hear other employees chatting and at one point the massage therapist even went out of the room to ask them to keep it down. Then when she was giving me some stretching instructions post massage, another massage therapist interrupted and asked her to fix the music in her massage room. No one showed me any locker room or spa hot tub area and I left right after my services after the student intern checked me out. The experience was bizarre. If you are there to get a spa service and could care less about ambiance, then this will be fine. But if you are looking to relax and make this an experience, I would pass. read more

I got a massage here while staying at Beaver Creek. They were incredibly accommodating with the scheduling and let me change my appointment after apres ski got a little out of hand.... My masseuse was okay, it was supposed to be a deep tissue but the guy gave me a Swedish massage, if that. He did focus on my pain ponts though and did help relieve the tension in my neck and legs from skiing. Best surprise is that they have Good Earth teas for when you are done.....the best! read more

FABULOUS EXPERIENCE! My boyfriend and I went in for a couple's massage and got the winter special--massages with chocolate scrub and peppermint lotion--and it was PERFECTION! The spa is small and intimate but has everything you might need. We were greeted with kombucha mimosas and after a fabulous hour-long massage, we enjoyed the warm saltwater pool and hot tubs outside. Not a Spa! That would require a relaxing place to lounge and relax. The locker room is very small and cramped. One tiny sink, 2 showers with cold water. No steam room or sauna. Just hot tubs and salt pool outside. No access to tea or coffee and none was offered. So disappointing! My massage with Catherine was good and she was very sweet. read more

After a long day Skiing this is the place to unwind. It is located inside the Beaver Run Resort on the first floor, a little tricky to get to so you may get stressed out along the way! Once you walk through the door the staff is very welcoming you totally forget how frustrated you were trying to find the place. I scheduled a 90 minute Ashiatsu Massage, which is a massage preformed by the therpist using their feet to walk on you and massage you. If you are looking for a deep tissue this is key, the therapist is using bars above their head for balance and can use all their body weight to massage you! I was 30 minutes early for my appointment, julie was working the front desk and told me they have 2 outdoor hot tubs and a 98' salt water pool if I'd like to soak before my massage. I said I'd love to but I forgot my swimming suit. she said no problem they have plenty. Julie set me up with a suit, a locker and some amazing earth tea and I soaked in the hot tub until my appointment. the hot tubs are only for spa guests so I was the only one soaking. Kelly was my therapist, I don't remember much is my 90 minute session, she took me to another planet of paradise! I've been to several places In Breckenridge for massages, The Spa at Beaver Run, has staff that's always smiling and loves their job. They are welcoming and accommodating. I booked a couples massage at this Spa because I work at Beaver Run and I get a great discount. It turns out, the massage therapists here are amazing! The facility is relaxing, welcoming, beautiful and clean. My husband and I were treated with great care and our therapists were very professional. They attended to our requests wonderfully. My husband and I have had MANY massages in many places and now he won't go anywhere else! Its lucky I get a good price! The spa 'menu' is extensive and reasonably priced. A cute little spa located within the Beaver Run Resort. I have had several massages here and have been very happy overall. Phil and Erin are both great. They made me feel very comfortable and seemed to know how much to chat (or not chat) during the treatment. They are both very strong, skilled and knowledgeable and I would recommend them highly. A little difficult to get to. Your best bet is to park across the street and cross Village Road. You have to pay to park in that lot during the winter, but you can get a garage key from the front desk at no charge. read more

We got a Breckenridge Studio at Breckenridge Run (which is in building 4). The ski lockers were on the ground floor of the building and were really close to the Beaver Run Superchair. It is a ski in/out location. The studio was in good shape and looked nice since it was renovated recently. The main thing I didn't like was the high cost of the room and the very lumpy pull out sofa. read more

Very disappointed. We booked two each 90 minute massages with foot polish and oxygen bar. First they called the day of and cancelled one of the two massages. Then they called back and said they "might" be able to do both. Then they called back and said they could get us both in but cancelled our coworker who was booked at a different time. When we finally did get our massages, they only gave us 60 minute massages, shorted one of us 10 minutes, and didn't show the oxygen bar booked at all. Seriously?
