Tip: Check out the clearance section for potential deals…read more I dropped by this Staples to browse. It's considered a part of Clearspring Centre. It isn't connected to the mall. Rather, it's a standalone building between Walmart and Starbucks. It was a gloomy day with intermittent rain happening. I drove over here without any raindrops. I found a parking spot fairly close to the store entrance. I backed into a spot. The rain and thunderstorm show was on. I sat in my vehicle until it stopped. It took about five minutes. I then walked into the store when the coast was clear. I saw a lot of back-to-school items. I frankly loved shopping for these items just before school started when I was a kid. However, it didn't happen on June 30! It's way too early. Even when I was in grad school and classes started in mid-August, I wasn't shopping for back-to-school items in July! I liked the cloud message board that this store had. I'd like one myself! This store had a lot of phone accessories. I particularly liked the PopSockets section. Sadly, none of them were on sale. I spent a lot of time looking at flash drives that work with your phone. I used to have one, but I ended up establishing a connection between my laptop and phone to back my files and photos up. I do see how convenient these flash drives would be when you are travelling and don't have a laptop. Perhaps you have one that doesn't allow flash drives to be used, such as my work laptop. I have always been a fan of Logitech. There was a cool keyboard-mouse combo. I know that the trend is to go wireless. I find that when your battery dies and you don't have a spare battery with you, you can't use your keyboard or mouse. Frankly, you're in a bind. I travel with a wired mouse. I use a wired keyboard at home. They will work without fretting over batteries. It's the same thing looking at wired vs. bluetooth earbuds. If you don't have the latter charged, you can't listen to your music or whatever audio that you want. I travel with regular earbuds with a cord and my wireless earbuds. The laptop section had some decent deals. I also freaked out a bit seeing a spill on one of them. I realized that it was fake. There is a clearance section, as most Staples stores do. You can find some good deals. Timing is everything! I also loved looking at calculators. I likely got into math because I played with my dad's calculator. It was nice seeing Texas Instrument still alive and kicking. I didn't buy anything at this store. I did like browsing. It was nice that no one asked me if I was looking for something specific. I didn't have anything that I needed. It's a clean store with neat stuff. It's cool. (262)

I'd give 0 stars if i could. Awhile back i experienced "potential" racism and harrassment at this…read morelocation from the manager and the supervisor. From the second i walked into the store i was followed from one side to the other side for no reason at all by multiple staff members instructed by the manager. I was asked if i needed help and i politely replied with no i was just looking. Amongst all the other shoppers i was targeted. I went to the front and confronted the manager where he deliberately denied answering why i was being watched whereas i have over 6 minutes of recorded video that shows them following and peeking around corners at me. I felt very uncomfortable and if i didnt need a certain item for my pc i would have left. I asked him nicely to tell me and ended up telling him its harrassment and i wanna talk to the manager which he identified as and still refused to answer my questions only threatened with calling the cops which i told him to do it. I ended up purchasing stuff i needed and left. I came back a second time on another date and SAME issue done by the supervisor, again purchased what i needed confronted him and he told me i need to leave or he'll call the cops so this time i waited for the cops which they did show up and i did NOT get arrested. Their may have been some speculation the manager/supervisor is racist to natives as I'm not the only one who has had this problem with the people there. I myself am not native but never have i felt so harrassed or uncomfortable and both times i ended up calling the head office outside of the building. I highly unrecommend shopping at staples for this purpose. Many of my friends have stopped shopping their since they found out. (P.s Still have the video)
