    Over a week ago I lost my phone. I ordered a new one through Apple Care and when it arrived I…read moretried to get it set up. In order to do that, though, it required two factor authentication, which required them sending a code to my phone, the one that I lost. When I contacted Apple, they told me that I could wait another week for them to authenticate me by other, unspecified, means or I could go to my carrier and ask them to download my phone number to a new SIM so they could send the code to a different phone. I went to Virgin, and after they did what I just described, it still didn't work. Exasterbated, I put my head down, sighed an exhausted sigh, put the phone down beside me and said to the service rep, "I just went through this. This is why I'm here." My energy level was tense but controlled, and my voice was slightly above ordinary talk. Then the manager, who was standing nearby said, "Don't talk to my staff like that. You're being disrespectful." I said, "I haven't disrespected anyone. I'm frustrated. Is that okay?" He said, "It's not okay. Act like an adult. Leave the store and don't come back." Last I checked, adults don't escalate with frustrated customers because they need to flex their little muscle, and adults also don't take disrespect from petty store managers, which is why I'm writing this review. I asked how I disrespected anyone. He said, "You raised your voice." When I asked how I was supposed to get the issue resolved he threatened to call security. I was not treated like a paying customer today. Clearly they don't need my business, or yours.
