Best Buy sent out a couple of their Geek Squad tech support folks to help us out at the Child Development Centre. They set up a fairly complex mesh network for us, including using Wifi equipment from different manufacturers that we had in place. They did a fantastic job, creating a seamless network and improving Wifi access throughout the centre and out in our playground. They demonstrated technical proficiency in the area that exceeded what I anticipated. read more

I lost my Virgin SIM card when I switched it out for a local SIM card while visiting Mexico. I hadn't been happy with Virgin for a while, so I took this opportunity to change providers. I took a chance on Best Buy. I was happy I did. The young man who helped me ( I think it was Derrick, but he was manager of the camera dept) smoothly and effortlessly did the job PLUS I got a Best Buy gift card. read more

Oh my god what a disaster of a business. I went there to buy a goPro camera the other day. So I stood at the goPro section for 15-20 minutes with 6 different employees walking by me without any of them asking if I needed help. I even was waving the goPro box in the air looking directly at 2 employees and the overhead camera. I made my way to the customer service desk and asked the person there if anyone was working the camera department. She turned her back to me and picked up a phone to call someone. I told her don't bother because I stood there for 15 minutes without any help and won't waste anymore time ever coming back to this store. I have spent thousands of dollars at the Future Shop turned Best Buy in PG and I will not spend another dime. The lack of customer training and no more commission based sales persons are going to hurt Best Buy. read more

I found an item (Instant Pot) on sale at Canadian Tire and Best Buy met the price and gave a further 10% discount. Then when I actually tried it and found it wasn't suitable, they refunded me my money without any hassle. They have a 30 day return policy on these items. I suggest you check out Best Buy appliances when you're shopping for something. They have a good selection of quality brands. read more
