From my very first meeting with Elena, I felt comfortable and confident. They were able to accommodate my requested start date and handled all the preconstruction details including permits and inspections. Elena guided me throughout the design process and worked closely with me to make sure I was happy with my choices. Their workmanship and attention to detail were top notch and they were very respectful of my property, as well as my privacy. Their crew was extremely talented, and Dmitry was very hands on and knowledgeable. As with any remodel, there were a few small surprises, but Pulsar came up with solutions and made any alterations necessary. I truly appreciated their clear and frequent communication, weekly updates, and budget progress reports. I will definitely work with them again on future projects.

I say "with" because they both were absolutely with us every step of the way. The schedule and commitment they made with us was as equally important to them as it was to us. We had some hiccups. No project that I've ever been involved with goes without a hitch. And our house was built in 1963, and the kitchen was last updated in 1992. So there were a lot of challenges to be met and issues to be dealt with as the kitchen went down to the studs. But Elena is a master project and business manager. And Dmitry is actual an artisan, with a team of very skilled people at the ready to do the work and handle the problems. Even when we had issues with the vendors for the appliances, Elena stepped in and worked the white spaces, smoothing over the issues and getting everyone back on track. Dmity himself literally built custom solutions real time at the work site. We had several challenges because of the way the house was initially built, and he overcame them one by one with creative solutions that were not simply kluges but are now permanent fixes that passed ALL Final Inspections. Which brings me to another point: Dmitry did all the plans for submittal to the city, and Elena submitted all the plans and permit requests, interfaced with the city for all inspections, and gave us copies of all the final inspections and permit information for our files. We paid for those services, and I will tell you it was well worth it. It bears noting that we lived in the house the entire time the work was being done, except for the 12 days when we were on vacation out of the country. Pulsar kept working the whole time we were gone, safeguarding our home, and keeping us in the loop even though we were eight hours ahead. Pulsar was not our least expensive bid. But we made the decision early on that we would not cut corners on this job. We are very grateful to have found Dmity and Elena. They were easy to work with, had respect for our property and our schedule and our budget as much as possible, and never made us feel sorry about choosing to with them. I recommend you choose them, too!#

We began our Culver City project with a plan to renovate our existing three-bedroom, one-bath home and convert our garage into an ADU. What started as a 325-square-foot garage ultimately became a beautifully designed 705-square-foot one-bedroom ADU. Throughout the process, EG's consistently exceeded our expectations. The quality of the craftsmanship was outstanding, but equally impressive was the team's communication and guidance. Their insights helped us make smart decisions that balanced our budget with our desire for thoughtful design and high-quality materials. As the project neared completion, our confidence in the partnership led us to take on an additional phase--adding flexible living space to the existing home. Technically a JADU, this unique addition transformed our front home into a four-bedroom, two-bath residence, while also creating the option to close off the rear portion and generate rental income in the future. None of this would have come together without the collaborative approach of Eric, the owner, and the entire EG's team. Their professionalism, creativity, and commitment to doing things the right way made a complex project enjoyable and successful. A special thank you to Eric, Andy, Oscar, Lalo, Abner, Uriel, and Hugo, along with all of the expert partner contractors who contributed to bringing our vision to life. We are thrilled with the results and highly recommend EG's Built Construction to anyone looking for a team that combines quality craftsmanship with integrity, communication, and true partnership.

After searching online, I found C C Cleaning. After an initial assessment, the owner said he could send a crew to help me clean and I should call him when I was ready to schedule a time. I was relieved he was willing to help, after being turned down by 2 other companies. However, when the time came for me to schedule a cleaning, I couldn't reach the owner. I left several messages and he never returned the call. When he did return the call, he'd tell me he'd call me later at a specific time, but then he wouldn't call back. I felt like I was having to chase him down to get a response. After two days of this, he finally returned my call and said he'd send his cleaning crew on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. He then called back to change the time to 9 a.m., which I told him was a little early for me and asked if we could still keep it at 10 a.m. He said one of the guys on his cleaning crew had an appointment in the afternoon, so it had to be 9 a.m., leaving me no choice. The following morning, the owner called me several times at 7 a.m. while I was in the shower because he'd misplaced my address and didn't know where to send his crew. I felt this was very unprofessional, and I found it interesting that he got annoyed when I didn't answer the phone at 7 a.m., seeing as he'd done the same to me a few days earlier when I was trying to reach him. I called back and left him my address. In his crew's favor, they arrived on time and immediately got to work. They started taking things out of my kitchen cabinets, which I didn't know they were going to do. I explained that I'd already cleaned the kitchen cabinets, having done my share of scrubbing and cleaning the week before they came. The lead guy in the crew said when he did a cleaning job he "did it right," which I was happy to hear, and that he and his partner would put everything back when they were done. After pointing out a few more areas that I hoped they'd be able to clean, dust and scrub, I left and expected to be gone for 4 hours, which was how long the owner said the job would take. Less than 2 hours later, I received a call from the cleaning crew, saying they were almost done. I returned home and saw they'd done a good job cleaning and vacuuming the floor, cleaning the bathroom, and cleaning off some of the surfaces. However, they'd mostly ignored the areas I'd pointed out to them that needed some extra scrubbing, and they'd left everything they'd removed from my kitchen cabinets, top of the fridge, and bathroom shelves strewn all over my apartment and had put none of them back. I had to beg them to finish cleaning an area of wall that they'd completely left untouched. They did it with no issue, but I was unhappy that I had to ask. They then left my apartment, leaving everything out, having put nothing away, and leaving me with 3 more hours work, putting all those items away, as well as more cleaning and dusting on surfaces they hadn't touched. A few hours later, the owner called me to check in and see how the job went. I told him they got most everything much cleaner, which I was happy about. But I also mentioned the areas they hadn't touched and that I'd had to put all my things back because the crew hadn't done it. I told him that all this took me 3 more hours. At no point in this conversation did the owner apologize for his crew. Had he apologized, I might have been willing to let these issues go and would not be writing this review. But I thought his lack of apology was very unprofessional, and I'm deeply unhappy that after his cleaning crew left, I had 3 more hours of work to do that they should have done.
