I know most people come here to write reviews about the mattresses but today I wanted to take time and write a review about the store and the service agents in the store. We went to the store maybe three to five times in the process of trying to figure out which mattress we wanted. Each and every time we went felt more and more like we were dealing with family. There was never any pressure to buy and they were very patient answering all the questions we had. We primarily dealt with Donte for the sale but talked to everyone I think over the course of our visits there and all were awesome. On one of our visits Wry ( sorry if I spelled it wrong) promised my daughter he would have hot dogs for her the next time she came and what do you know. The next time we came, he cooked up hot dogs for my daughter and my son while we were shopping in the store working with Donte. When you are making a purchase like this you not only want to feel good about what you bought, but you also want to feel good about who you buy it from. Even after the purchase one of the discounts from the manufacturer didn't apply to our purchase the way I expected it to and to resolve the issue Wry gave us a credit in the store for the amount of the discount which worked out great to buy new sheets for the beds. Even the delivery guys were awesome and we just had the bed delivered today. Quick courteous clean and didn't leave any thing behind and were more than willing to explain the operation of the bed if needed. I can't say enough good things about Sleep Center of Columbus. If you're in the market to buy a bed, the least you could do is stop by and check them out. I don't think you'll be disappointed. From bed in a box to Tempurpedic they have it all and there's usually something on clearance in the store. So make your next move your best move and go down to the Sleep Center of Columbus. I visited The Sleep Center 6 or 7 times in search of the perfect mattress. I brought along a different family member each time for their feedback as well. We settled in on the Tempur-pedic mattress over any other mattress in the store fairly quick. I spent the rest of my visits determining which of the Tempur-pedic models and which features we wanted. All of the staff were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Goodness, over the course of my 6 to 7 visits I felt like I must have asked at least a hundred questions. Wry was especially helpful and welcomed all of my questions. We finally made the investment about a week ago. Our mattress was delivered the weekend of Memorial Day. The delivery and set up staff were great! I wish I could remember the guy's name. He was very experienced on the job and is well distinguished with his red hair. He was able to anticipate my wish to have them remove their shoes before entering the bedroom to complete the delivery and set up. This was priceless! So far I have slept on the bed for 2 nights and my Tempur-pedic is everything I anticipated, firm yet comfortable and supports my back. I look forward to many years of great quality sleep! Was referred here this past week by so many people to include our roommates. They just purchased a Temperpedic from them and are loving life sleeping. Based off everyone talking so highly of this place on prices, deals, and just being so happy with their sleep we decided to go in. I met with Jason the owner first he was the nicest, most caring, knowledgeable person I've ever dealt with in our search for beds. it actually frustrated me that some customers were very rude to him and others while we were there for no reason all. Anyways I left that day to come back two days later after we made our decision and went with the temperpedic breeze and two nice pillows. donte made the deal with us and was also very nice and patient. there was no sense of rush or pushing to buy something by any sale person in that place they were so nice. We will continue to buy beds from them as long as we live here and I can speak for about 15 other people who will do the same, people that already have been back here multiple times and I see why now after I went to all the other places in town. read more

All the staff at the Sleep Center were very helpful!! When my wife and I were picking out our new bed we were able lay on the beds without being bugged. When wee first came in, we were asked to lay on the all the beds and Mr.Ricky only gave us info on the beds we were interested in. We decided to think about it and ended up coming back that weekend. Wry and Jason were there to assist on purchasing/financing and any other questions we had. We decided on a bed and got a prompt delivery date. The guys that delivered it were so nice. They made sure that everything was taken care of and answered any questions we had in a polite and professional manner. The experience was awesome!! We shopped several mattress stores in Columbus GA, no one had more beds to actually lay on and feel the difference. Very clean, pleasant, professional location and extremely knowledgeable and patient staff. We made two visits and there was absolutely no pressure to make a sale. You owe it to yourself to visit the location. Pricing, they knew their competition's pricing better than I did and gave us a great deal. You can rely on their website for product information but not pricing - there were many more "in-store" sale prices than there were on the web page - visit and see current pricing. read more

Sleep Center gave us super service at the store. We went for one type of mattress that was on sale but the King Size was sold out. They gave us another type of mattress in the same price range with the same discount! I think the newer mattress was better quality at a better price. Delivery was exceptional. Got it delivered within 3 hours! The delivery guys brought types of box springs and installed each to give us the best possible fit for the room. This is the second bed that we have bought from them and again the service was great from top to bottom. read more

We looked online and then visited mattress stores around the area. If you want to choose from a great variety and feel the mattress before buying it, this place is perfect! There is a huge selection, and the store was spotless. My husband and I have arthritis, so buying a mattress is extremely important to us...we didn't want to rush. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Believe it or not, their prices beat online offers. They told us how we could upscale so we had all the data, but did not push it. We bought our first Tempurpedic bed today. The staff here was great. Wry answered our questions and gave good information but never came off like a creepy car salesman. We got same day delivery. The guys Who delivered were in and out in about 10 minutes. They offered to do more than they were obligated to do. They offered to take away our old bed. When we told them we were keeping it, they offered to set it up in another room for us. We are not sure that we wIll like the bed. However, this place gets five stars for customer service. read more

We knew nothing about selecting the right mattress--our last purchase was over 15 years ago. Foam? Coil? Hybrid? Gel? Price? Longevity? Soft, medium, hard? Box springs?? We shopped several locations in Columbus but Donte at Sleep Center IMMEDIATELY zeroed in on our needs, focused us on 3-4 wonderful mattresses and was immensely helpful in our decision. Excellent customer service! Not a single bad experience and we went to the store multiple times. With their pillow program my husband & I Got to try out multiple demo pillows to help us with our mattress decision . We initially bought a Tempur-Pedic bed that did not work for us. Exchanging it was an easy, no hassle process. Wry was extremely patient, professional, friendly & helpful through our entire bed buying process. We visited the sleep center three times before we decided to buy. Each time the service was great, there was never any pressure to buy, and the sales associate was always helpful and we never felt like we were a bother. They were always well informed and patient. Delivery time we were given for our mattress and adjustable base unit was 11 AM to 1 PM and they promptly showed up at 11:20 AM after a courtesy call. Amazing experience purchasing our Tempur-pedic mattress. After moving to Columbus Georgia from overseas, getting a mattress was our number one priority. We were able to purchase our Tempur-pedic and have it delivered the next day. They even offered to give us a temp mattress if the Tempur-pedic was not available. My husband and I had a wonderful experience at The Sleep Center. The salesmen were knowledgeable and thorough. There was no pressure to buy; its a very comfortable, professional atmosphere. Dante was an EXCELLENT sales associate and the owner jason was very knowledgeable and helpful. They were very patient as we eventually decided on a Tempurpedic Cloud Luxe. Felt spoiled by the service and our bed was delivered the next day. All of our friends buy their beds here and now we understand why. I cant imagine anyone not being satisfied with the sleep center. They offered a very good price (under $400.00 for the set) with no hassles and the delivery was incredible. They delivered my mattress set with in 30 mins of my purchase. Horrible company with a drunk for an owner. The man I met who says he owns this place smells of booze and mouthwash. I could tell by the way he carries himself he doesn't care about much else. His staff is the only thing keeping this sinking ship afloat. read more
