The guys at The Sky Floor are rockstars! We desperately needed help back in 2016 as we were coming up to the Presidential Election and we were averaging 5,000 visitors a day, with 90% being new visitors. We needed to restructure the site to better present our content and we needed to add new content. The Sky Floor's name was given to me along with two other developers. The other developers wanted to take the traditional route of spending a few weeks consulting and then from there, they would develop a plan/proposal. We didn't have the time to basically pay for a bloated proposal, and the team at TSF knew it. We had one face-to-face meeting at a hotel by SFO to accommodate our CEO's travel schedule (Thanks Joel, for doing a one day trip from Chicago to SF and back to Chicago that night.), we did a few hours of brainstorming and then they were off and running. TSF knew long-term we had to get off WordPress but had the experience to know that it was not the right time. Our site made it through the election (the week leading up to the election, we averaged over 10,000 visitors a day) and the site was praised by many people for the ease it was to navigate and find content. Now in 2018, we are working with TSF to redo the entire site into multiple sites and change the CMS platform to Craft CMS.
