Sure, I've had a massage in Bali that costs all of $12, but spend ten times that at East Day Spa and the experience is elevated to perfection. From the first welcome accompanied by a cup of peppermint tea, to the calming music and beautifully appointment treatment rooms, everything is carefully thought about so you can spend time focussing on being relaxed. A massage here is exceptional, with the therapists obviously holding a high amount of training and experience. Sore legs? They'll spend more time on those when you tell them beforehand. A little knot in your left shoulder? Don't worry, they'll find it and gently knead it out. Don't worry about walking out feeling like an oil slick as they'll use hot towels to remove excess oil before giving you an oil-free face massage. One of my good friends assured me Body Liqueur was the place to go and so I decided to book myself in and hope I had made the right decision. I rang the salon the day before and was hoping to get an appointment at short notice. The receptionist explained that they had nothing available at short notice as they were very busy. They helpfully asked if I wanted to go on their waiting list or book an appointment on another date, I got the feeling they had said that to a lot of people that day as it did sound slightly scripted! (perfectly pleasant however) I opted for the next available appointment and booked myself in for my regular waxing. The day of my appointment arrived and I visited the salon. I was immediately asked if I wanted a glass of water while I wanted and was offered magazines. I was very nervous and the receptionist (a different person to the one on then phone) seemed genuinely understanding and spend a little time chatting to hel me feel at ease. My therapist - Ammy - popped out and welcomed me through into a hallway and into a treatment room. She was one of the most lovely woman I have ever come across. I felt immediately at ease and she performed her job incredibly well all while remaining professional and calming. I got on extremely well with her and halfway through the treatment had already decided I would return. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone and everyone for waxing.
