Everything fresh seafood - eat in or take home. Seasonings. Desserts. Very welcoming. Staff helpful in making your selections. Very clean, nautical atmosphere. Select from iced, fresh seafood in glass display cases.

Food was good and nice size portions, also available is Cajun classics like gator, turtle meat that you can take home to cook. Cool little place and different than your average seafood place.

Some of the best fried shrimp I've ever had. Had been hearing good things about this place and it didn't let us down. Great fresh seafood for dining in or takeout. It's a no frills set up and they have steady business. Wife went with her go-to of fish (tasty cod) and chips, while I mentioned my fried shrimp; can always tell when the seafood is fresh. Each combo plate was $15 and came with a choice of two sides, which were ok. Also had a $5 starter of boudin balls -very good. Service was peppy and helpful. They offer all manner of seafood to cook on your own: fish, octopus, squid...all sorts of critters from the seven seas! Def will be back!

Variety of seafood choices, both fresh and frozen. They also offer prepared meals cooked to order. Hubby and I Stopped in for lunch on this cold and dreary day and was immediately greeted by a smiling young lady behind the register who was very kind, patient and caring. She offered their specials of the day along with a variety of beverages to choose from. After placing our order, we found a perfect table for two to enjoy our meals. The place was clean and had adequate seating for its customers. There were several persons dining in when we arrived. We ordered the Shrimp Po' Boy and the fried shrimp plate, both came with two sides. Within 10mins our meals was prepared and brought to our table. It was served hot and looked quite tasty. The roll the sandwich was served on was soft, fluffy and overflowing with shrimp. The size of the shrimp were large and fried perfectly. Moments later, the young lady checked on us to make sure everything was to our liking. Indeed it was. After finishing our meal, we toured their seafood counter looking over their seafood choices for future buys and quickly discovered their prices were out of reach for our pocketbooks! Our overall experience at this location (Alcoa) was exceptional.

Canadian salmon and wahoo sashimi bought at their fish

Amazing. The wahoo tacos were incredible (corn was okay, standard. Fries were delicious). They have an amazing selection of fresh fish. Took a piece of wahoo and Canadian salmon home after lunch and it was delicious! Highly recommend

This location is on par with the Kingston Pike one. It's small and quiet, and very basic. The employees are all very friendly and efficient. My wife and I ordered lunch; she, a shrimp Po' Boy, me, a shrimp plate. I had my large shrimp fried with French Fries and broccoli. My broccoli was seasoned with garlic and thyme. Your choices are endless. I could have the shrimp prepared one of several ways. There are numerous sides. Once I selected broccoli, I had more choices on the seasoning. I also had a beer (bottled only). Our meals were cooked fresh and promptly delivered by the kitchen staff. My shrimp were lightly breaded and cooked just right. My French fries were hot and (fairly) crisp, and my broccoli was seasoned as requested and served al dente. Overall, a very good place for lunch when you're in the mood for seafood.

    Cooking perfectly!

And being an Army brat (and Army veteran) helps. And I love the Sunrise Supermarket - I've shopped there every week or two since they opened. I buy a lot of fish at the fish counter, and never had a bad experience with their fish (of course, I know how to buy fish, and occasionally I need to speak a little Spanish, which I can). The produce section is wonderful. I wish I knew how to cook a tenth of what they sell in that store! In contrast to what several reviewers have said, I've never experienced or observed any discourtesy to anyone. Sure, there are occasional difficulties in communication, with so many nationalities represented, but that's part of the fun of it. I fairly often want a Chinese item that doesn't have a satisfactory English name, so I find the Chinese characters on the Web and print them out, and find somebody in the store who can read Chinese, and promptly am led to what I want. (I just discovered sha cha sauce that way.) Checking my shopping list now - sesame oil, some fresh squid to stir-fry and a pompano to steam, some frozen Chinese dumplings, a bottle of nước mắm, a bag of bean sprouts, a Mexican squash. And by now the 2026 Chinese calendars should be in.

I get fresh fish and vegetables here every week. The guy that cleans the fish is always nice. I…read morehighly recommend.

A Memorable Evening at Raven Steakhouse: A Refined Gem in Downtown Maryville…read moreAs a person with a particular appreciation for establishments that elevate special occasions, I recently had the pleasure of dining at Raven Steakhouse (211 W Broadway Ave, Maryville, TN 37801), and I can confidently say it sets a new standard for fine dining in the region. From the moment of arrival, the experience was seamless. Our reservation was honored promptly, and we were escorted through an elegantly appointed dining room that strikes the perfect balance: sophisticated and refined, with beautiful linens, soft lighting, and an atmosphere of quiet luxury that feels welcoming rather than intimidating. The space exudes timeless sophistication without a hint of pretension--a rare and refreshing quality. Our server, Alene--who doubles as a skilled sommelier--approached with genuine warmth and effortless grace. Her deep knowledge of both the menu and wine pairings proved invaluable, guiding us thoughtfully through an impressive selection of dishes. Attentive without ever being intrusive, she anticipated needs with remarkable precision, creating that ideal sense of being cared for rather than merely served. Alene's charm and professionalism elevated the entire evening. We began with two Raven Salads, which immediately demonstrated the kitchen's commitment to quality and restraint. The artisan mixed greens were impeccably fresh and crisp, serving as an ideal foundation for the other components. The bright acidity from pickled onions and the house vinaigrette was masterfully balanced against the rich, unctuous egg and perfectly portioned Benton's bacon--a locally revered ingredient that is too often overused. Here, it was handled with exemplary subtlety, allowing each element to shine. For entrées, my companion selected the Chilean Sea Bass, paired flawlessly by Alene with an unoaked Chardonnay, while I enjoyed the Prime Rib Eye. Both preparations were executed with precision: the sea bass moist and delicate, the rib eye richly marbled and cooked to absolute perfection. That first bite prompted the kind of involuntary satisfaction that only truly exceptional cuisine inspires--eyes closed, a contented lean back. The wine pairings did more than complement; they elevated and transformed the dishes, creating a harmonious whole that felt greater than the sum of its parts. An unexpected highlight came with dessert. We had initially ordered the signature 10-layer chocolate cake, only to learn the chef deemed that day's batch imperfect. Rather than disappointment, we were met with gracious transparency and a complimentary replacement. We chose the Bananas Foster, a dish new to me, and it proved transcendent: warm, caramelized bananas nestled alongside creamy house-made ice cream delivered pure indulgence. I now find myself wary of ordering it elsewhere, lest it fall short of this benchmark. To accompany the meal, we enjoyed an expertly crafted Old Fashioned and a pair of Espresso Martinis, each presented in ideal glassware and demonstrating true mixology artistry. In a year just beginning, Raven Steakhouse transformed our first "date night" of 2026 into an unforgettable celebration of culinary excellence and impeccable service. The drive home was filled with conversation about when we might return--proof of an experience that lingers long after the last bite. For anyone seeking a luxurious dinner where outstanding food, thoughtful wine and cocktail pairings, and genuinely gracious service converge, Raven Steakhouse is wholeheartedly recommended. This downtown Maryville treasure not only lives up to its elevated reputation but surpasses it. I eagerly anticipate my next visit.

Beef Wellington, which you don't really see in East TN, was very tasty and prepared to perfection. I will crave the Pork Belly Appetizer! The Sea Bass was amazing!
