This has become the worst place to try and shop. It used to be up to 3 hours free parking, but now you have to pay $3 minimum for 3 hours. Just spent about 30 minutes trying to find parking, but nothing. Decided to leave and still had to pay for parking. We tried to explain that we didn't get a chance to park, but they wouldn't give us any kind of compensation. Glad I don't live in this area anymore, and have other centers to do my shopping. I love this mall because they have Target, Old Navy, Chinese Supermarket and other stores in there. It is convenient and right by Subway 7 stop. I just wish there is one near my apt too. Since it is only a couple years old, it is clean and bright. The parking lot offers 3 hr parking for free. So it makes shopping a lot easier if you drive. Obviously, there are not as many shops as other bigger shopping mall. However, to get daily grocery and household items, this is enough. read more

Skyview literally has everything you can think of - shopping stores that includes outlets, a supermarket with fresh groceries, bubble tea drinks from different vendors, snack stalls from pop corn to ice cream to cream puffs to beauty shops and more. It is a one stop shop with a parking lot that makes it convenient, but depending on the time of your visit, it could be hard to find parking as well. I've probably only visited half of the stores that were here in this shopping center, but is a good place to go to hide from any nasty weather out. Marshalls will always have an intense line and is super messy so I tend to skip that store after my one experience. Gong cha is the go to bubble tea store for me and Sky foods is a super convenient and cheap supermarket to go to. It pains me to see that there is just so many people at times, some who are rude and obnoxious that kills a space like this. read more

You can't exactly called it a mall cos it doesn't have variety stores like typical mall, the first 3 floors are commercial store fronts, above them are residential units. There's a free 3 hrs parking which makes shopping a lot more easier for people who drives, and people who's visiting the area but can't find parkings on already compromised infrastructure. There's BJs, bob's furniture, bed bath and beyond, Target, Old navy, Marshall, limited eateries including apple bee's, five guys, chuck e cheese, bubble tea, and a semi newly open hot pot restaurant, also a huge chinese supermarket. I just hope there's more restaurants so shoppers don't have to go outside of center (cos it is abit of a walk), we settled at five guy's instead. Overall, it's well maintained, all the escalators are working and plenty of parking spots, and for typical home shopping, BBB, target and BJ's are sufficient. read more

Parking lot is an absolute mess, their policies change from time to time and it's just overall unorganized. If you can find a street parking spot then you're better off with that. This mall gets two stars for some of the stores inside such as Nike which is a clearance store. Adidas which is also a clearance store and Uniqlo which saves time from heading into manhattan to find a branch. Sometimes if you come early before they open you'll be able to purchase something for a steal price but usually throughout the day it's bombarded with people. Seeing as the stores are at its maximum capacity then you'll know that almost everything becomes a mess and not enough employees working the floor and cleaning or recovering the products and restocking. Come here a few times a week just to see what's new and finding it hard to navigate through isles as everything is completely mixed up unless you come extremely early. read more

Nice shopping center, pretty clean and quite a few different shops. From Nike (clearance), toysrsus, Coco, Bakery, other small shops, BJ's, Bed Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, and more. Decent staffs and easy to find. Walking distance to a couple different bus stops and a bit further but still within walking distance to the 7 train. Lots of parking spaces too which is always nice. This place is always a circus - even crossing the street to get to it is chaotic. I don't like how you have to walk through the parking lot to access some areas, because the mix drivers and pedestrians causes a lot of unnecessary chaos. It is hard to get a cab by the BJ's now because they've started charging for parking - which is good for them and terrible for Flushing. It basically costs $6 to go in and out the parking lot now. The cab podium by the exit makes sure to charge you those $6 too, which is absurd. WHY DON'T THEY HAVE A LIQUOR STORE HERE?! Their Uniqlo is very small but staff is nice besides the daily chaos. They cannot do alterations here so don't buy pants here if you are short. There's a Nordstrom Rack here that sells lots of crap - no tks! The Forever 21 is ok, but some of the staff will give you attitude for returning your online purchase. The Bed Bath & Beyond is small but staff is nice and patience with the dozen coupons that you brought. The Chinese supermarket downstairs is so weird - there are birds flying in there! HOW DID THEY EVEN GET IN THERE? Seriously. They are chirping and flying around. No phone service in there. The Target there is fine - except for when you are trying to pay for your purchase. Good luck. However, they have the best Target Pharmacy (CVS) staff. Those ladies are the best. Also, no phone service in most of the store. Don't come here on the weekend. Your best bet is coming here during the week and later in the day so you don't have to dodge little kids and their little families. No more free parking. You may think that 3 dollars for up to 3 hours of parking may not be too much, but considering that it was free before and there are some people that are here for much less than that, it can be annoying. I drove in here to drop off a cable box for time warner cable, which literally took about 10 minutes, and had to pay 3 dollars for that. I am not reviewing the stores inside. I do not think I will return to this mall just for this parking fee reason. I remember back in the day when they first opened, they had this 3 dollars up to 3 hours parking. They quickly removed it as customers were probably not coming as much as they expected. Now that they have more businesses inside, they reinstated the parking fees. There is absolutely no street parking around. What a greedy move. The stores inside are aimed for cheap and poorer customers. Nike outlet (cheaper than Nike), Forever 21 Red (cheaper than Forever 21, lol), Nordstrom Rack (cheaper than Nordstrom), Priceless (worthless shoes), Marshall, Target, etc. List goes on. The mall is really a heaven for Chinese people. There are a few that are not - Best Buy, Bed Bath and Beyond, etc. The majority of the people go here to buy cheaper stuff. I mainly come here for Target but I do like that there are other stores such as Nike, Uniqlo and Nordstrom rack here. Although the Uniqlo here has a limited selection of clothing/styles. Im giving two stars because there is barely ever any cell service here and the lower you go, the less cell service you get. That's just annoying. And there's not going to be free 3 hour parking starting March 1st, which I think is a poor act on their part. The free parking is what drives people to park and come to skyview. I always find myself going through the stores and buying something from target whenever I park there without the intention of shopping there. It helps with the revenue of stores and traffic. Now I'm not so sure if I'm willing to park at skyview after they implement the new policy. I mean $3 for 0-3 hours isn't bad if you take advantage of the full three hours - which is equivalent to 3 hours of meter parking in flushing. But beware, it's $5 after 3 hours so it's not worth it. I don't even need the full 3 hours sometimes so it'll be a waste. What a shame. Their 3 hour free parking was the best perk of skyview and the best part about flushing. It makes coming to flushing more convenient and frequent. Can't win 'em all I suppose. The stores here aren't bad, the selection in the stores are just poor. read more

Wow, this place made me laugh and make me think who the hell build this?! Seriously, ..Billions of unneeded escalators, bad choice of placing stores and restaurants. The 50 maps around the mall doesn't help much, poorly mapped. Took me like 30 mins to find the best buy,..oh yeah, btw is "connected to the sky view" and when you head over you have to go through a parking lot to get to best buy. So say a little prayer to GOD that you won't get run over by a car. btw, the target is very messy... and they need more employees at best buy cause there was a million people waiting for help and girl at coco bubble tea looks like she hates her job but the bubble tea was great! You guys are so mean! It's true that this place doesn't have much to do here, but it's a really quick walk from Main St. And it's very clean, spick & span. There's a ridiculous amount of potential for this place. Imagine if there was an urban outfitters or even a forever21... I can easily see this place being like a mini Queens Center. It's so close to main street... and if there were a couple of retail stores here I'd definitely stop by more often. read more

i would have given this Skyview Center 5 stars if anybody and yes i do mean anybody walks into this mall and has perfect service on their phone because once you enter this mall your telephone service tends to disappear and you are lucky if you stand in one stop and get a good connection on your phone. The Wi-Fi is so so its not all outstanding either. Now with the important thing out of the way lets start with the mall or should i say "center". This center has a good selection of stores from clearance stores to a food court with the majority because Asian of course it is located in Main Street which is a mini China. The prices in this mall for some reason are cheaper i have no idea why tho, Even the clearance stores are cheaper. Basement you have nike and the food court to a GNC and even a Chuckie Cheese for the kids. 1st floor you have Adidas clearance to a forever 21 for men and woman to an Old Navy and Marshalls and a newly opened Uniqlo. 2nd floor you have Target and .... thats pretty much it for the 2nd floor. But i would have to say one thing ... this mall is very clean and if you need an ATM they have a bunch in this center which is a plus and their chase i mean who doesnt have chase nowadays. read more

It is a mecca of America's finest shopping - Marshall's, Target, BJs, Famous Footwear, Old Navy and Bed Bath and Beyond. You can fulfill all your discount needs here AND get a great burger down by Five Guys! It's pretty easy to navigate, largely being a vertical issue and parking is free for the first 3 hours. My only pet peeve about this place is when the Asian ladies bring their entire family and kids here. It is like a baby zoo! I like the shops here. I love to shop at Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Target, Bob's Furniature (for their free snacks and drinks), and Bed Bath & Beyond. After I shop at those places, I would stop by Fay Da Bakery for some hot milk tea. Yum. Overall, the mall is very spacious and cleanand it seems like they're still accepting other businesses to rent their spots, since I see a bunch of empty stores as I wander throughout the mall. read more

I agree with Gary L. Skyview isn't a bad mall at all and it's indoors. Skyview has almost everything a mall should have - restaurants, bakeries, supermarket, BJ's, Target, clothing stores, and etc. I must admit that a few of the stores I've been to inside Skyview Center have a few flaws like there is almost no reception available in the mall, SkyFoods is quite crampy and small for a supermarket in a mall. Bed, Bath & Beyond is also a little cramped too. There never seems to never be enough cashiers working at the registers at Target. I also realized this is one of the few malls that has a parking fee which I think is absurd. I like that the mall is bright and has big brand name stores that you can trust has good quality products and it's pretty clean. This is a good mall to come to if you have basic necessities you need to get for home or yourself, but wouldn't highly recommend staying here too long especially with those damn parking fees and also zero reception. read more

Sky View Center is a mall that is full of promise but lack of timely execution. I remember how deserted the mall and stores were in late 2010, despite the presence of several big name stores. It doesn't help that the layout of the mall is bizarre with a parking garage splitting the mall from several larger stores (Best Buy, Bob's Furniture, and BJ's). The split layout makes it difficult to navigate and not shopper-friendly at all. Fortunately, foot traffic has picked up now in 2011 but the mall is still in dire need of more tenants. Half of the mall is still full of empty spaces with no signs of new stores moving in. A few new tenants (namely Five Guys, and Sky Foods) are due to open this summer but it feels like it's taking forever. I'm not even sure why Sky Foods (apparently a supermarket) is needed since BJ's and Target both sell most supermarket items along with the dozen other supermarkets on nearby Main Street. A food court with a few big names would be a better fit for the mall. Also, the site no longer lists Golden Jaguar as a tenant so that definitely points to problems with mall management and prospective tenants. Sky View Parc could've been the next Queens Center for Northern Queens but for now, it's a just a pile of half-baked dreams. It'd be nice if they could bring in some stores that are desperately needed in the Flushing area, like a Staples or Barnes & Noble. Bringing those big names in would go a long way to developing the mall into a one-stop shopping destination. read more

I like this mall, I really do. It's a great addition to the Flushing community providing a clean, safe, and spacious space to walk around and shop. While I am a fan of mom and pop stores, there is something to be said about box stores, especially those in a town center/mall. For one, cheap prices, then you have the one-stop shopping for everything, and of course the security of being able to walk from the entrance of the store to your car at 10:00pm and feel safe. Now the negatives. Whatever architect designed Sky View is an idiot. Really just an idiot. First it is impossible to find a restroom in this 3 story building. None of the maps offer any assistance as it's not drawn to scale. From what I gather there is only 1 bathroom in this entire mall, hidden behind some metal doors. And a rather unkept bathroom at that. However, my biggest gripe about this mall is the parking garage. The lights are timed in a weird way where it's green on Roosevelt but red under the bridge. Then there is a dip that scares most people and forces them to drive slower than necessary. And of course, after 20 minutes of gritting your teeth and you finally get into the parking garage, it becomes a spider web of a maze getting anywhere...so of course people who do not frequent this mall regularly end up blocking access for everyone trying to get into the mall. The parking garage is manageable on the weekdays but I have learned to stay clear away from this mall on Saturdays and Sundays. Your blood pressure will just sky rocket as you try to deal with the throngs of pedestrians and cars that seem to be wandering/driving in a daze of confusion. read more

Before I start my actual review, here's a tip: DO NOT go to Little Lamb in Sky View Center! Little Lamb is a knock off of Little Sheep in Flushing. I believe they share the same chinese name, but this one is NOT the famous one that everyone loves and flocks to. Little Lamb s.u.ck.s. Do not, I repeat, do not bother. Anyway onto the review.. Gosh, getting into the parking lot is beyond difficult on a Sunday. On a Saturday, not so bad, but on a Sunday, holy moly. If not for the difficulty of getting into the lot, this place would get 5 stars from me. I'm not going to complain about the difficulty of finding parking in the lower levels of the lot though. Why? Because THREE HOURS FREE PARKING. I love this about Sky View! Unlike places like Queens Center, or Rego Center, Sky View offers free parking for up to 3 hours. I also love how it's only a few blocks off the heart of Flushing, and parking in the lot is an excellent alternative to trying to find parking on the streets of Flushing. Three hours is enough time for a massage and lunch already, so I'm happy. If you really need additional parking time, it's only another $3 for 3 more hours.. or you could dine at Applebees for up to 5 hours free parking... or you could even get your car out of the lot before your 3 hours are up, and just pull back into the lot again for another 3 free hours. Solely up to you. This place still has a lot of empty space, but I'm sure in time, it will fill up. But whatever Sky View already offers is already good for me. SkyFoods (chinese market) is now my new go to spot for grocery shopping on the weekends. There's also my beloved Target to go to right after SkyFoods when I need to stock up on non asian junk. Then you've got Bed Bath and Beyond, Nordstrom Rack (woohoo!), Marshalls (another woohoo! for discounted goods), Fay Da Bakery, CoCo? for drinks, Chuckee Cheese for the kids, and lots more. This place just makes my errand running weekends so much more fun. read more

I come here often (mostly to grocery shop) and get tea. The best part about this center is the parking lot (lots of space and better quality than the others around the area). There is a pretty large target on the top floor which is convenient, but gets crowded on the weekends and holidays. The grocery store (skyview foods) has good quality asian foods and gives free parking for $30+ purchases. There is a CoCo and Gong Cha in the mall as well adding to its convenience. I also personally go to the bakery across from Gong Cha from time to time as it serves rather fresh and cheap Asian baked goods. The only downside to this mall would be the bathrooms-limited, crowded, and smells bad. read more

If you're looking for a photo booth in Flushing, they have one here!! Photo booths like Toto are practically extinct nowadays so I was ecstatic when I serendipitously ran into the one here that's right in front of Chuck E Cheese's! For $5, you get 2 strips of 4 photos each. It's a little pricey but definitely worth it because the quality of the photos was excellent!! Only downside is that the effects/background can't be changed in between photos and they take the photos automatically after a few seconds in between each other so it's best to plan out what poses you're going to make before you start taking the photos. There's only room for 2 people but that's all I needed :) I don't really care much for the clothing stores and eateries in this mall. The photo booth is where it's at!! I had a blast! :) read more

This one star goes to their parking policy. It is my first time I lose my parking ticket and they end up charging me $24 for lost ticket. Wtf on earth they think they are to charge this much! I didn't park in the city which will make more sense. First of all, when you drive in the main entrance to get the ticket, there is no such policy sign "in front of you" . Instead they had it right on the other left side wall (on purpose) where the cars are exiting, so it'd make a little more difficult to read because seriously no one reads that unless it is right shot in your eyes though. Nonetheless, the clerk woman was helpless and pointless. My car was stopped right at the cabinet exit along with other 3-4 cars behind me. Her solution was to have me backed up to speak to the manager or go back inside finding my ticket while I was being honked and yelled at. One driver next to me was like "just paid the fucking ticket" I go they're charging me $24. Then he silent and moved on. Why didn't she just charge me the $3 which is the 3 hours "policy time-limit rate" as well as I spent there even lesser instead of bitching about the cameras being watched and making a big deal out of it. indeed! And if she doesn't believe me then go check the cameras for my in-out time. After all this commotion, I had no choice but paying the $24. It's okay in here. If it wasn't for the free parking I would not think of going to this mall lite. Lite, because it's small for a mall. It's more if a mini mall! Most of the major anchor stores are just mini versions of themselves. Bob's Furniture Store and BJ's feels substantial though. The SkyFood Grocery store is a huge Asian market that is kept pretty clean. They sell prepared food also. Which is only so-so. This store is probably the only reason for me to go to Sky View Center. read more

The worst thing is the greedy parking ticketing system. I literally had to wait in over 1 hour traffic line just so each and every car from each and every store in the mall could give in their parking ticket and wait for the gate to go up and down each and every time just to prove they stayed under the 3 hour free limit.
