What is there not to like about chocolate so fresh it makes everything else including Laura Secord and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory taste like brown crayons? It's true: the fillings in H&H chocolates are made with fresh cream and butter with no preservatives, so the shelf life is maybe a couple of weeks. I love to stop in the factory on 2nd Ave north to pick out a big bag full of my favourites, passing on the ones I don't like-a custom blend if there ever was one! On problem is that every summer the factory closes for a few weeks and I can't get my fix. They put a sign on the door listing a bunch of retailers, so I made the mistake of picking up a small box of 4 chocolates at a retail outlet in the Scotia Center. They were old, with white blotches and tasted like--WAX! It would be better if they simply left me without my fix rather than ruining a perfect 5 star rating for retail wax crap. I recommend H&H, but if you can't buy them fresh at the factory on Second Ave, don't touch them at all. Fallback: Purdy's Sweet Georgia Browns!

Customer Service: 4/5 - Server was polite. Service was slightly slower than average speed. Location: 4/5 - Lots of nice shops nearby. Close to river & transit. Taste: 5/5 - Best juice I've had. High quality, not too sweet. Menu: 5/5 - Large menu with many unique and tasty drinks. Vegan friendly. Sustainability: 4/5 - Glass bottles, waste reduced juice production.
