Nathan is a GREAT guy, and I was in there for a total of about 10 minutes and my blade came out sharp as could be, and still had time to chat with him and the desk worker for a little bit. He mentioned he does classes on how to make your own knives, and he sharpens so much more than just knives and mower blades. I respect his work and you should to! Never taking another thing anywhere else to get sharpened. ZimKnives is the best in Wisconsin! (Cannot beat the prices either)

I wanted to walk into a business, buy a machine that was assembled, and go home and get to work on the driveway. And this is exactly what Medinger offered. Joe Medinger was informative regarding different brands and models. He put gas and oil in the machine I bought, gave me a brief lesson on how to operate and even loaded it into the bed of my truck. And 30 minutes after walking into Medingers, I was clearing off my driveway. I did not receive any of the poor service the other Yelpers did. In fact, the previous reviews almost kept me away. When I showed up there was a sign at the door saying that they were out of the office on a canopy setup. When I called and eventually got a hold of someone later that day, the lady I spoke with (I believe it was Kim) felt horrible and apologized profusely, which was unnecessary as I showed up unannounced, but I sincerely appreciated it. When she asked me when I could come back I told her that it was difficult during the week because I work so late, but that I needed this tent fixed ASAP. She told me that whatever day worked best for me she would stay past her working hours to wait for me so I could drop off my tent. When I arrived after 5pm this last Monday evening, her and her coworker were there waiting with smiles on their faces even though I felt beyond horrible. Not only did they wait for me to arrive, they examined my tent, diagnosed the problem and fixed it right on the spot so that I didn't have to make another trip down to the south side. They were incredibly friendly and offered extremely knowledgeable advice to someone like me who rarely camps. If you're in need of a repair I HIGHLY recommend K&D - if I ever need something they will be the first people I call.
