What are the chances...I moved from California to Maricopa and brought my drapes with. I love my drapes, weird I know. I just knew they would be perfect in my new home, they dragged on the floor there, but I didn't care. Once I hung them here, they were 12 inches too short!! Omg, I was devastated!! My neighbor recommended a seamstress in town; yes! In Maricopa!! Misty is amazing, we found a solution by using one of the panels, I would make a sacrifice and she added the length to the other five panels. She also creatively added the texture in the opposite direction cuz it couldn't be helped!! Fortunately, I am extremely ecstatic about my beautiful velvet drapes!!! Check it out! I was terrified of sending my wedding dress to someone who wasn't with a "main stream" alterations company like Men's Wearhouse or David's bridal. aside from that I was scared of going to someone's home to be measured for the alterations! It was Thursday night and I needed a dress hemmed for Saturday night. I contacted her that night and she responded she can do it by Saturday. I was so grateful for that because I don't know what I would have done! ***Mind you, I was not able to drop off the dress until Friday night after work! I got to her house by 6:30pm, put on the dress for her real quick and she quickly measured. She had to leave for work at 7pm and was still managed to accommodate me! *** Saturday around noon she text that the dress was finished and I can pick it up. I was not able to pick up till around 2pm but her daughter was there to help me. The only minor thing is it takes a little time sometimes for her to respond to your text, but eventually she does! :-) I would definitely recommend her! She saved me!!! I had a zipper that came off my lovesac because I washed it called lots of places and no one wanted to mess with it then a friend of mine recommended me to the sew suite.
