Beyond the expertise in market analysis, pricing, and negotiations, Cole went above and beyond in the following ways. He worked with the property management company to view the properties with respect to the tenants. He coordinated a roof repair with a local contractor. He interfaced with title companies and lawyers to insure the LLC was in compliance with inheritance laws. He arranged mobile and virtual notaries on very little notice to insure our closing was not delayed. This was a massive headache, and he compassionately took it on himself to support us. At many points, he could have done what was easier for him, but he always put our needs and interests first. I can't recommend him highly enough.

I've had the good fortune of working with Stephen Bearden and Lubbock Discount Realty twice now…read more I've moved around Texas and worked with a dozen realtors across every major city at this point so I feel pretty confident in recognizing good, experienced help when I meet it! They've helped me to both buy and sell a home. I cannot think of enough good things to say about him and his company, but let me try! Firstly, I love the idea of going with a non-traditional listing service as a home seller. They saved me a small fortune by going with the flat rate fee instead of costing me an entire 3%. He didn't arm wrestle me into a lengthy contract either; he was willing to continue selling my home indefinitely without ever charging me another fee. It was unnecessary, however, as my home sold in less than a month of listing! He had phenomenal comps to compare my property to so we came up with a great starting price. He was willing and able to be reached any day of the week at any time (and trust me when I say I sent some late night texts with emergency questions!). He was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. On the buying end, Stephen has also helped me to find the perfect home. Again, he's first rate with his comps so he knows a good deal when he sees it. He's also been in the business a very long time so he's seen a lot and knows almost everyone. He came with us to closing at our request. We were completely prepared and done in a heartbeat with no surprises. I've had to "babysit" other realtors before to make sure things got done, but Stephen was always on his game and helped us every step of the way. This has been one move we could rest easy over. Thanks, Stephen!

We used Michelle Kauffman to buy a house in Lubbock. Michelle Kauffman was the buyer's agent…read morerepresenting us, and was used as the seller's agent representing the seller. Michelle Kauffman was difficult to work with but we made the deal happen.Since we were out of state buyers we never even met her in person! Michelle decided not to show up to give the keys or anything related to the home. Michelle also did not tell us (as buyers) the appraisal value. It came in a lot less than the contract price. Being cash buyers it would affect how we paid. No one wants to pay above appraisal value!! She refused to disclose this info. Along with all the 99 items that were wrong with the home and the seller's disclosure was a fraud. Michelle Kauffman is not transparent, very dishonest and highly unprofessional. However, over a year has passed and it's come to our attention Michelle Kauffman has told and given our information regarding the transaction of our property to another third party. This third party has falsely accused us of harassment, threatened our livelihood , and sent law enforcement to our house for no reason but to threaten us based on their assumptions not facts! Michelle Kauffman gave the third party personal and confidential information regarding the transaction we had with her with the property we bought a year ago. After giving this particular third party our information we started to get harassed and threatened with emails, texts and phone calls.  Michelle Kauffman is a real estate licensee who has a duty to keep client information confidential, including personal and contact information, and details related to real estate transactions. Realtors in TEXAS have a duty to keep client information confidential, including personal and transaction details, and generally cannot disclose such information to third parties unless required by law or with the client's consent. Michelle Kauffman violated rules and laws set by TREC. We did not consent to having any or partial information released to a third party who is basically harassing and slandering us or to anyone! If you do use or have to use Michelle Kauffman as a realtor in Lubbock, TX do your own diligence.  Highly do not recommend Michelle Kauffman realtor in Lubbock, TX
