Umm, can I move in here? Please? Seriously, if you're something of a foodie like me, or just have…read morea soft spot for gorgeous kitchenware, *this* is your died-and-gone-to-copper-pot-heaven. I can pretty much guarantee that if there's a cooking implement you've ever coveted or lost or even just wished existed - from onion goggles that thwart tears to sandwich makers designed for use with a campfire - they have it here. All gimmickry aside, they've also got all the top-quality name brand skillets and pots and pans, plus beautiful tableware and some intriguing and very-French sounding bottles of sauces and soups. There's also an assortment of plain and seasonal cookie cutters - a true happy discovery for me since I've gone to other kitchenware stores in London for, say, a snowflake cookie cutter, and come away empty-handed. To cap it all off, if you're still not sold... the store is beautiful and the service courteous and helpful. If you're in any way an aficionado of epicure, this is definitely worth a pilgrimage.

This is a treasure trove of cooking equipment, and not the cheap tacky stuff. Pots, pans, baking trays, roasters, crepe pans, cast irons... They're all upstairs awaiting your selection. Beautiful displays of cutlery, kitchen towels and other equipment are available. Downstairs you'll find dishes and dining ware along with speciality items, Bannetons for bread, preserving jars, cheese boards. They're all down there somewhere. From the outside you wouldn't even guess that so much was stuffed in there. And yet it doesn't feel crowded. The proprietor is a charming French gentlemen, a true example of the way things were, attentive, knowledgable and always happy to see people. I've been coming here for years, and will continue to do so.
