Not once has the company called me to voluntarily update the timing as stated on the PO. I have called several times to understand if there are production delays with my order. Kevin, the owner, states every time that he will update me on timing shortly but still no update after 11 weeks. I am patient and want to support this small business but would appreciate transparency.

The windows from Windows Plus gave us more window than the competitors. We did not have to order all new blinds where we would have needed to with the other local options. Unfortunately my husband and I had to leave out of the state for a family emergency. We were available for the first day installation but could not be here for the entire installation. No, my husband nor I could not have waited to leave. My brother in-law was available for the rest of the installation. Personally I prefer to have all work inspected prior to final Payout but could not leave that responsibility to another person. We arrived back home a week after the windows were installed. Once I started inspecting the windows I immediately messaged the company. After several emails and pictures sent showing some of the problems an appointment was made for two representatives to come out and inspect. Let's just say every window had some problem (gaps in the frames, a spot visible to the eye in between the glass panel, missing screen, poor screening, missing screen nut, frames cut too short, damaged decorative wood window trim ....) in addition to each window would need to be cleaned. The window installers were very nice and courteous when we were here the first day. They were very mindful of our cat who often likes to "escape" to be chased around the yard. One of our half moon shaped windows were being changed into a rectangle casing window. It turned out beautiful with the exception of the vinyl framing on the outside where there was a gap. Extremely long strand shortened - most issues primarily the blatant ones have been resolved. We still need to clean all our new windows.

These new ones are sleek, modern, and super easy to adjust to whatever configuration I want. They are the top-down, bottom-up style, which I had never heard of, but I was all in when Tim and Jake explained them to me. Tim, the owner, came and did the install and in 30 minutes I was good to go. The two I installed were tests to see how I would like them, and since they're a winner, I'll do the rest of the house sometime later. We love our Hunter Douglas top-down, bottom-up (kind of sounds like a crazy night in Key West with too much to drink!) shades. Emily is a straight shooter in the office and Jake couldn't have been nicer, but Wilson might be my favorite staff member of all. The windows look perfect now. Jake hauled the old ones away and he even puttied the tiny holes in the walls from the previous blinds. My new favorite Cincinnati company!
