I went with Ken & Josh despite the reviews and I am so happy that I did because it came out great. The permit process was a hassle but once it was issued they jumped right in and started work on my new paver deck that looks amazing. The finished screen patio was well worth the value I paid as their prices are realistic and not over inflated just so they can offer to lower the price later on to get the sale. The absolute worst in screen and lanai building application. They built the lanai and it didn't pass inspection . Finally got that approved with needed alterations. Then, almost immediately after the job was complete, a lot of the screens started to unhinge and had to be fixed and replaced. . Each time I called, they were annoyed I was calling, but my screens were unattached.... It's not that I wanted to call them again, but being it was a new installation, done so poorly, I really had no other option...I mentioned that I really would love to never ever have to call you again, but being the customer with another detached screen, if they were installed correctly, I wouldn't be calling to have them fixed. Now it's about 3 years since installation and I've been noticing over the last couple of years, a rippling and looseness, because of improper installation, but really didn't want to have this company "fix" this because they just aren't that good at it!! Josh, the son, will probably bring this company down on his own, due to his unprofessional way and nasty attitude in doing business, but the whole operation is under par and costly and stressful as you see the total incompetence... So now, the screens are coming out of the splines, due to horrible application from the start...and most have to be replaced. Unfortunately the installers are very inexperienced and do overs seem to be part of the overall experience..The company thinks they're doing great and the screens are magically detaching due to none of their own incompetence, but their faulty installation speaks for itself!! Well, it is a few years later and here I am on my patio just looking at the beautiful lanai I am supposed to have. I am not terribly upset however I do notice lots of rusted screws probably because they did not use a stainless steel fastener to prevent rusting. I did have this company do my windows and for the most part was OK but I did have to call the manufacturer to come in three times due to the slides that were given to the installers were not correct. Additionally, they use different fasteners on the windows and I had to go through and paint probably 30 or 40 of them to match the ones that were supposed to be put in. I suppose they did cut corners and I was not happy about that. I did contact once or twice years ago to get resolution on the windows but never got reply so I did not pay the final $500 for the job. read more

The workmanship of this company is excellent. The price for the project was also very good. The only problem I had was that when I signed a contract in April 2022, I was not told that the work would not begin until November 2022. The second part of the project was just completed in January 2023. I think that the sales person needs to be more upfront. The poor workmen who experience the anger of the customers! The person who answers the phone is a bot and has no information and cannot give out information - only the owner! If time is not an issue, definitely use this company for a good price and high quality. read more

Ken Miller has an extremely unprofessional manner in the way he speaks to customers especially if you happen to be a woman. The job was eventually done, but I have absolutely nothing positive to say about the experience. There are other options out there for screens. Do not bother with this place. read more

These guys are constant Assholes every time we have tried to call for help or repair, since we had a room built a few years ago. The quality is trash, the room leaks, the door and lock has never worked properly. Josh is a miserable POS and is not helpful at all. Use anyone else but this company. read more

We found that Screen Depot failed to follow up with the City of Boynton Beach officials on numerous occasions throughout the permitting phase of our project. Ultimately, the project was canceled at our request, and we were left scrambling to recall the permit that was applied for by Screen Depot. Screen Depot provided little, if any, support in trying to recall their permit request, costing us additional money when no work had ever been started. Would not recommend. read more

Responding to the Business Manager's comments. I have documented proof he threatened to come out and get in my face and DEMANDED final payment without finishing the work because I stated in an email that if I did not hear back from him or his father I will file a complaint. The both in conjunction bombarded me with insulting text messages with name calling and threats. Only if their work mirrored their text and writing of lies such as below. I want to start by saying the quality of the finished product is excellent. 5 stars there, for sure. However, if you want to know when workmen are coming, why they weren't there despite beautiful sunshine, why the job is taking two, or three weeks longer than originally discussed, you are going to have to stay on this company. Having worked with contractors before, we discussed our desire for communication right at contract signing. We asked for him to keep us in the loop, discussed a neighbor who used this company and was left hanging, with no communication. We were assured that was an unusual instance, and wouldn't happen with us. We'll, guess what... There was no communication from Ken unless we initiated a call. Oh, those weren't received well, he wasn't very pleasant. Emails were answered promptly, but, we are the customer, paying him for a job, why are we having to email him two, three, four times to find out about our project? We tried to discuss the lack of communication with Ken when he came by for money..... He collected his fees promptly.... and that's when he straight out told us he didn't care if we recommended him or not. So I guess, at this point we'd have to say, we do not. read more
