I'm sure I would give this a much higher rating if I could actually get in.
I see the 'closed' sign all the time, going past on the train. Once, on a Saturday, I almost fell off my uncomfortable seat as I saw the door wide open. Shock. Checked them out online, figured I had to get in somehow. Expected website to say 'only open Saturdays between 2pm and 2.15 if the moon's in Aquarius and the humidity under 65%'. To my surprise, they claimed to be open almost normal hours. Frowned in confusion. Was heading nearby, thought I must solve the Mystery of the Disappearing Opening Hours once and for all.
Stood on the doorstep seeking entrance to embroidered sari (or saree) emporium most perplexed. Sign said closed. Another sign said opening hours that included the time I was physically reading them. Lights were on inside. Door was locked. No sign saying 'out to lunch' or the like.
Unless walking up the path silently transports you to an alternative time dimension where it is always Monday afternoon and hence, the shop shut, I have limited other explanations. Maybe there's a secret knock required to gain entrance? Would someone teach it to me? Please? read more
