I did a lot of digging to find the designer and style and only find that one other bride had worn the dress online. I took note of the alterations she made to it, and did the same to my dress. I'm very happy with the results. My shopping experience at the store was good in that I found the product I wanted, but if you can, go into the store on a day where they're not too busy - I accidentally rushed my fitting, and I should have taken longer to enjoy the experience, since that would be my only wedding shopping experience.

Julie found the perfect comfortable not too long dress and they began working on the adjustments to her fitting immediately. On Monday, just 2 days later, we picked up the dress and ready the fly out the next day to Queenstown NZ. Gladys is wonderful along with all of her sales staff on the floor. We just encountered a rude lady upstairs in the fitting area as we were picking up the dress who refused to tell us her name after I called her out on bad customer service. We had the expectation of trying on the dress one last inspection before signing anything or walking out. We had to repeat ourselves 3x that "yes we would like to try on the dress one final time...." This lady kept saying she wasn't the one who adjusted the dress. We didn't care about if she adjusted the dress or not. She's full of insecurities and her attitude started to escalate therefore I stopped it right there by asking her "when you applied for your job there should've been a level of good quality customer service, am I correct?" That is when she realized and she began to correct herself by calming down her selfish unprofessional attitude. She then gotten paranoid and called a sales lady to run up as if we had an issue with the dress. I clearly explained nothing is wrong w the dress. It was the lady who tried to rush us for signing the pickup form before final inspection is who we had a problem with. At the end of the day we give 2birds 5 stars for working so fast, efficiently, and professionally on the sales floor.

I purchased a bridal gown, 2 bridesmaid dresses and a junior bridesmaid dress from Two Birds Bridal in Wetherill Park on 9th February 2020. They seemed great to begin with, I thought I was going to receive my made to measure dresses and them end up my dream dresses but boy was I wrong. 3 weeks out from my wedding day I was at other bridal shops trying to find dresses for my big day all because Two Birds Bridal didn't produce the products I asked for and paid for. The quality was dreadful, the dresses weren't fitting correctly for made to measure dresses, they didn't even arrive with enough time to have them 'fixed' and appropriate enough to wear. There are so many brides out there who have experienced similar situations with this company. It seems they happily take soon to be brides money, but in return deliver horrible products and cause so much additional stress by waiting months before getting the dresses distributed from their 'designers' in China. I have since been to NCAT and managed to win the court case where Two Birds Bridal was ordered to pay me $7890, however they decided to put a dispute in. This dispute never went ahead as the company withdrew their application. I attempted to garnish their bank account - with no success and then paid for sheriffs to retrieve the money twice. But the owners changed their business name numerous times and are now claiming they know nothing about the debt being owed to me. Also take notice of the managers names listed with ASIC for Two Birds Bridal, you will find they post 5 star reviews here using their names stating how amazing their own business is and making out as though they purchase products regularly from the company they own. I am trying to get the word out there for future brides to be extremely careful and to read reviews both good and bad before putting any money down for bridal gowns and bridesmaid dresses, especially at this particular bridal shop. Two Birds Bridal was ordered by NCAT to pay me and they are refusing to pay up! Nearly 2 years later and I am still fighting to get my money back. I will continue to fight until I receive what I am entitled to as per the NCAT court order of $7890.

Never before have I been to a shop that told a bride "it's better to try on a dress that's too small than one that's too big. Now my friend is not a big girl- usually about a size 8 I would guess. She tried on a beautiful dress in a US size 6 (Aus 10) and while it zipped up, it was tight and was showing every little lump and bump on the poor girl. It was impossible to visualize how it would look in her size. We asked if they had any bigger sizes and we were told that it's a new dress and it's too risky for them to order more sizes until they know if it will be available for a long time or that it will sell well. I don't know what she was blabbing on about but it sounded like a bunch of bull. Honestly... how many girls can try on a US size 6? It would be absolutely impossible for anyone even slightly bigger than an aussie size 10. Needless to say it was just what my friend was looking for but she never would buy it from there without being able to get a feel for what it would really look like in her correct size. When I went and picked up a bigger dress for her to try on in a different style the staff member tried to give us a lecture on how it's not good to try on a dress that's 2 sizes to big. It won't sit right. Of course it wont be perfect but at least you can zip the damn thing up. Now, for those of you who have never shopped for dresses, how it usually works (in EVERY single other shop I've ever been in in Australia and the US) is that they stock dresses that are a bit bigger so that more girls can actually try them on. Then they clip them in the back so you can see how it fits your shape. At abbey bridal we were told that they don't clip dresses because it ruins them. While I'm sure it isn't great for a dress, it IS standard practice AND it allows a bride to move around and really get a feel for what the dress will look like on the big day. Can't really do that if the staff is simply holding it together for you in the back. Needless to say they really rubbed us the wrong way. My friend really liked two of the dresses but told us that even if she decided on one of them she wouldn't buy it from this shop. Only reason I'm giving it more than 1 star is because they did have one of the bigger dress selections of the Dymocks building bridal shops.

At one stage she happily obliged with pulling down a manican so my friend could try the dress. She was attentive, helpful and friendly. Completely relaxed with us taking photos of the dresses so we could discuss them later. We went to a number of different stores but nowhere else was the service as good. I took my 'too short in the torso, too long in the hip' body off to Lilyn and asked her to help. The pins that jutted from between her teeth were stitched onto me in a flash and despite a few 'oohs' and 'aahs' about the technicality of the job, she was sure she could help. It took a week or so to get the finished product but I was delighted with the results. At around $85 for the alteration it was a big investment but I feel so much better about the fit of the dress now. Highly recommended.

After an exhausting search for a tailor that wasn't part of a dry cleaning business I accidentally stumbled upon Master/Slave. The work she performed was superb and exceeded my expectations. She was very meticulous with every aspect of the process, from the initial fitting to the final time I tried on my suit everything was measured and adjusted properly. Helen is an extremely humble individual who's skill shines through her work. An added bonus was the price point as well which was extremely reasonable for the work she performed even under the time constraint I gave her. Its a small shop on botany road about 5 mins walk to Redfern station & is only 2 shops down from the IGA :). Layed my cloths out & told him what i needed done for each clothing, priced up on a receipt and was outta there :) (fingers crossed) Could of come back sooner but was more convenient for me to come back a week later :), clothing looked untouched almost like he just clicked his fingers & they were all smaller sized haha!! Couldn't fault the workmanship at all!! Even one shirt which i thought was unfixable he fixed it!! He has had the shop where it is for the past 20 years and is still busy so what does thst tell you :D!! Also sells all types of his own clothing in the shop which is really cool aswell! Was super friendly & fun to talk to.. would hands down recommend him to anyone i know or dont know :).
