The clothing was more urban styles maybe because of the area. The kitchen and indoor household items had a good variety and the prices were about 20-40 off retail. I bought a towel rack that could be installed over a cabinet door for the kitchen or bathroom. This store was about half the size of a Marshall's. They also had electronic accessories like you would see at other discounted retail stores. It was easy to shop, I will visit it again to see what item they get periodically.

Being a new resident to Texas and now retired it's nice to see we have a Target. Target is truly a great shopping experience, no loud overhead music, no chaos like you know who (WM), clean well stocked stores and friendly staff and so on. Yes there are Super Targets and regular Targets some with more selections than others but in general, a great retailer. I don't rely on apps for real time information simply because an item may sell out before I get there or something else. I've always been able to get a rain check and the return process is a breeze. The value, selection and customer service are all really great at least with my experiences.

His attitude was completely different between how he treated me vs my wife. The first bit of furniture we bought my wife dealt with someone else and had a pleasant experience. We went to buy a full bed with mattress, dresser, night stand. He went through a whole story on how he doesn't carry full and tried convincing us we should get a queen. I told him I found one on his website that we wanted. He looked and said they didn't carry a full. I had to point out they did but in the grey frame. He then tried talking me out of it saying he would have to mark it up 20% to compensate for shipping. He did the same thing when we wanted a mattress from online. He tried getting us to buy a $600 in store mattress vs the $194 mattress with his 20% mark up. When we picked a nightstand he pointed out the other matched the dresser we were buying. I said we wanted that one because it offered usb ports. He lied and said that one did also. We didn't look just took him for his word. He pointed out we would need a wood base for our mattress and said he would add it. He never did. We did not notice this until we got our delivery 8 weeks later. We made the mistake of not making him itemized his invoice so we were not sure if we were charged or not. When called he said he would let us have it for $100 it would be 108 for tax. We called again on Monday at 4:45pm to confirm the price and that he had one available. He argued the price and insisted he never said that. He finally conceded and said come pick it up we are open until 6. We arrived at 5:10pm to find he had closed his store. It wasn't worth the hassle to make him honor his word. I was very apparent he was going to do anything possible to avoid it. So we bought a base from another store at $103 with free shipping. We were wanting to refurnish our whole house. We decided to take our business somewhere else.

I was bored at home yesterday and started thinking about when we lived in Phoenix and would get coupons in the mail from these people. Well, I didn't have a coupon on hand, but I had time to kill. So, I made my way over to that side of town. I walked in and was impressed with the amount of stuff they had, but not so much with their prices. Everything seemed way overpriced (or maybe I just shop at Ross too much). I was able to find a bunch of Yankee Candle Company items on clearance and left $32 poorer. Then, I got home and noticed the mail my husband had gone to check from the day before. There sitting on top of the pile--somehow I missed it completely--was a $5 off coupon for Bed Bath and Beyond. Go figure.

It was awkward to say the least. We went to Koronas instead. NEXT!
