I am used to hot vinyasa flow classes so this was a nice change. The asanas were familiar, while the type of nostril breathing she had us do to begin class was new to me. Plenty of blocks and bolsters to choose from. I enjoyed my time in this welcoming, lower frill studio.

Class cancellations & instructors constantly being subbed out so there is no consistency. I voiced an opinion on a policy change & was met with not one but two aggressively rude emails from a male front desk worker. After the first email, I asked him not to contact me again & he still did (harassment). A business should be able to take both negative & positive feedback & always strive to do better.

In early summer a yoga instructor from Phoenix visited me. I had raved about the studio, and went in to sign up for a class. My heart sand as the studio I loved, had changed hands. The shop was stripped of only a few basic items, the zesty colors were gone and replaced with cold mundane color. The warm, friendly atmosphere was gone. The woman at the counter didn't engage at all and didnt even look at us. I was shocked and had no words. The studio I knew was gone.

Second, there was plenty of parking when I visited, right alongside Highway 17 -- a few steps, and I was at the door. Likewise, my massage was great, and delivered by a great therapist, who asked questions and listened to what I wanted done. Finally, the price was a real bargain (especially considering the quality of service I received). In a word: superb! All in all, I had no problems here, and will probably swing by again sometime. She models and orally explains the postures with modifications to all fitness and experience levels. Though challenging at times, I was comfortable enough to modify as needed. I don't believe my experience in the particular class described in the original review below is representative of what the studio has to offer in terms of philosophy, teaching approach, or vibe. There are a wide variety of class offerings on their schedules at different times throughout the day, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the studio spaces are beautifully maintained and in very convenient locations. These things, in addition to the integrity displayed by the owner to reach out and personally connect with me about the strange class, are going to make it worth the time and money to take classes there. (Original Review) I had been really liking my first classes at this studio since moving from out of state, but then I attended one with Rachel H and it is making me second guess whether this studio is where I need to be spending time and money. The Real Hot 21 class I just attended was supposed to be a sequence of 21 poses and 75 minutes. We started off ok, but her vibe was off right away and then it got weirder. She snapped at people making accommodations to the poses that worked better for their bodies, she threw a small hissy when people continued to adjust. She called a 3-minute savasana in the middle (longer than makes sense), and then she shorted the sequence some poses at the end (with like 10s "savasanas" between the leg stretches). She started the final savasana 9 mins before the end, shorting the class significantly. she did not model any poses the entire class, just squatted near the door. So odd. I've been taking hot yoga sequence classes for 15 years in lots of studios and have never seen such uninspired, joyless and pedantic teaching as I did this morning. Avoid her classes if you love doing yoga.

Since I've been going everyone has been very accepting, supportive, and so kind. WOW! I feel welcomed and not judged. Furthermore, I'm recovering from life changing spinal cord fusion 7 months ago. Most recently, I'm awaiting an MRI for my lower back - pain severe in my heals. I'm out of work. Since going to Inlet Yoga I've noticed great strides in my mobility, my feet aren't hurting nearly as bad, I might be able to put off back surgery. My moods have changed so much. I feel happy, joyful, present, and accepting of all things. "Thank you!" I HIGHLY recommend you visiting Inlet Yoga. I've found a wonderful group of people. It's changing my life.
