I tried calling and leaving a message but no response till the morning of the appointment when I called and explained the situation but was met with a really rude person saying I will still changed 50% of the charges for late cancellation. I am not sure how this business runs with basically no leeway to paying customers who have unique situations like this. First and last experience here.

She spent a lot of time looking at my hair to determine how my curls fall, checking the color top and bottom, quizzing me on my preferences and how my hair behaves, etc. She mixed up the most gorgeous color that looks natural, shiny, and is exactly the right shade. She made the cut look easy, and quickly restored my curls. I left my appointment with Jessie feeling like a million dollars, and completely confident. The Salon is great too. My first impression of it was comfortable. The atmosphere is wonderful - welcoming, cosy, and clean - nothing pretentious or stark. A bad haircut can happen, but when you leave a client with an uneven, boxy mess that looks nothing like what they requested, it's more than disappointing. It's a failure to listen, communicate, and execute the basic fundamentals of the job. What makes this especially frustrating is that I returned THREE TIMES, giving this place every opportunity to get it right. At this point, I can confidently say that my patience and goodwill were wasted. Your hair is personal. You trust someone with your appearance, your money, and your confidence, and the absolute bare minimum is to listen to what the client wants and deliver a competent haircut. That did not happen here. Behind the mirrors was a narrow shelf that held each stylists tools. My stylist was Jennifer. She was a pleasant and interesting woman to meet. I enjoyed her level of honesty.
