The Salad Project is UK's answer to Sweetgreens and Evergreens in the States. At least, I think it's the only one that has the number of locations that would make it similar in scale. At any rate, very healthy salads, fresh ingredients, and some interesting combinations can be had here.
The place isn't fussy. Salad Project apparently wants their spaces to communicate the most minimal approach possible so it's almost like a salad labratory. But hey, I doubt you'll be eating here.
Salads and bowls here are like comparable salad chains. I'm finding the ingredients here to bit more fresh and interersting that some of the other competitors (loving the cilanto/tofu options) but prices are still comparable; you're going to be paying 15gbp for a salad.
My only beef with this place is unlike all other competitors they mix the salads in the bowl they're going to give you for eating so the salads are never properly mixed! I always get them home, dump them into a mixing bowl, and complete the process for them - fix this SP! read more
