I don't think I'd have ever tried out Chop'd if it wasn't for the event Qype did last night. I…read moredon't work in town and honestly, salad can be mostly uninspiring. But Chop'd was different. Everything we tried was fresh and tasty and there were some really unusually fillings - lots of fancy deli stuff to choose from. Most of the salads come in under a fiver which is a bargain as the portions are huge. I might have to load mine up with a pasta of potato base, but if you're watching what you eat this is a great snacky option. And of course, if you pop down there in the next two weeks, you'll get to try out Qyper Mseasons' salad - she won the salad making competition and her salad will be on sale for everyone to try! Well worth popping into, even if it's not the first place you'd think of for lunch.

This has mainly delighted me due to trying several local salad chains to my office and missing my daily chop'd. Anyone wondering what this elusive chop'd is of which I speak? It's in essence a salad fast food chain which serves up salads made to order as you go along choosing the delights you want in your salad. Today I had lettuce, pasta, red onion, tomato, sweetcorn and ham, with a fat free dressing called sesame soy. It was delicious, as I knew it would be, because Chop'd is consistently good quality ingredients. They aren't stingy on the contents either, mine was fully loaded with all the good stuff. This chop'd branch is smaller than most, but the queue was comparitvely small (the one in spitalfields used to be about 50 deep sometimes). They have most ingredients that the big stores have, and the staff are nice. Thank god. Salad harassment via Yelp over now I've found my BFF Chop'd again.

Widely regarded as one of the city's most popular vegan restaurants, it delivers food that is satisfying, hearty, and packed with flavour. I ordered the Chick+n Caesar Burger, which featured a plant-based chick+n patty, Caesar mayonnaise, lettuce, and red onion relish. My wife chose the Beetroot Carrot Vada Burger, made with a masala-spiced beetroot and carrot patty, mango lime slaw, green chutney, and tamarind chutney. Both burgers were served with a generous portion of fries and made for a very filling meal. What stood out most was the quality of the flavours and the portion sizes. Every ingredient felt thoughtfully chosen, and the combinations worked exceptionally well together. As someone who regularly eats meat, I was genuinely impressed by the texture and flavour of the Chick+n Caesar Burger. We also ordered two fresh juices: the Cucumber, Celery & Apple and the Pineapple, Apple, Ginger & Turmeric. Both were refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or simply looking to try something different, Mildreds is well worth a visit. The menu is creative, the food is delicious, and the overall experience demonstrates just how good plant-based dining can be. Highly recommended if you're visiting London and exploring the Covent Garden area. Service was great - super friendly staff Ambiance was nice - a chilled, quiet, progressive crowd

The mains were so good. We had the Korean fried chicken burger (which was HUGE, by the way), the beetroot burger, and the tofu salad. The burgers were very good, but boy, when I took a bite of my friend's salad, I fell in love. It was refreshing, the flavors were yum, and I'm drooling a bit rn thinking about it. The staff were extremely quick, kind, and sweet. There's lots of seating, although the downstairs area was quite packed. Overall, I loved the ambience of the place!

CHICKEN and BACON. The basis of this place is to grab a basic salad from the fridge then you choose from the huge selection of healthy goodness to have slapped on your lettuce. For those wanting something different you can also get jacket potatoes and wraps. With my first impression of 'Oh no... salad bar,' dashed I embarked on choosing a wrap worthy of kings. With a choice of all the impressive options, I went for a chicken, noodles, salsa and bean sprout wrap. It was very, VERY good. At £4.75 it had to be. I followed this up with a granola, yogurt compote that was good, although the berry compote did place house to a few pieces of banana that I found weird, All in all a pleasant lunch, a sure fire hit with the ladies and guys if you are dragged in here by your girl, man up, be happy as there is stuff for us too.

Delicious fresh & healthy salads made how you want them - there's a menu you can choose from but I tend to go for my own wonderful creations! I recommend the soy sesame sauce with pretty much anything (although I know it's not the healthiest dressing!) If you want something a little warmer then there are the soup options too or the toasted wraps - my personal favourite is the tuna melt - tastes delicious but still healthy! And then if you want something more filling then go the rice pots - I absolutely love the Wholesome halloumi - it's got all those healthy grains, whole rain race quinoa etc and tastes delicious & healthy! Have I mentioned everything tastes delicious, fresh and healthy? The juices and smoothies are great too & what I really love about tossed is you see everything being made in front of you. It doesn't have much seating - but if the weathers nice then I tend to take my salad to Trafalgar Square, so you can do a bit of people watching whilst you eat. Also! If you come within an hour of closing everything is 50% off - this is where I tend to go crazy and simply buy all of the above mentioned food!

Excellent on the delivery scale!…read more I was looking for a fast, quick delivery option for dinner last night -- and Farmer J to the rescue! (via Deliveroo) Excellent customer service: I had ordered a steak sandwich for my husband, but they ran out just before they could fill my order. They tried to call me a few times (without success as I was wrangling my toddler) -- but once I did ring back they just let me know they were sorry (bonus points!) and that they'd hope I'd be happy with the chicken sandwich, AND that they'd thrown in a few goodies to sweeten the deal. (And those goodies were amazing! dried mango, coconut flapjack, yum!) Delivery - super fast. Yes some of that is Deliveroo (well done guys) but it means the restaurant got the food together mighty quick, too! Packaged well and all arrived upright and hot! Now, the food -- the best part! Everything we had was stellar. A steak box and a chicken box, an order of turkey meatballs, all great! You order the main over brown rice or spinach, and a huge selection of sides, too! I particularly loved the kale caesar salad and my husband the asian slaw and cabbage. All really whole and fresh and full of flavor! Highly recommend for a healthy, full-taste option for lunch, dinner, or DELIVERY! No need to resort to pizza or kebabs guys, Farmer J has you covered.

The sides were good, a decent size and good flavor. Same goes for the chicken and rice - everything was good but nothing was outstanding. if you are coming from the US there are many similar options - maybe in a bowl vs a plate - but basically the same concept so to me there was nothing outstanding or wow about the restaurant. good food and decent portions

By the time I finished paying, my superstar name was being called and my salad was ready. I wasn't sure of the protocol, but went up to the guy with my receipt only to find him staring at me, clearly waiting for something. "Salt and pepper?" He asked. "No thank you," said I. "....." A bit of silence on his part. "What?" "No." I then received a confused look before he put his head down and mixed my salad. Points for the freshness, but it would be nice to see it a bit chopped. I had a full half avocado that was uncut and the other bits of avocado were massive. The tortilla chips were full sized, too, which means more bang for your buck (do they even have that phrase in the uk?) But also means my fingers in my salad to eat them. Also, considering he mixed my salad in front of me, it was remarkably unmixed and layered. One thing to note is that the chicken is chunks but the turkey is thin like deli slices. Points to the cashier for making sure I understood. I will say the price is right. I paid a little over £6 for a bottle of water and a medium salad - just the right size for me, but maybe not for those with healthier afternoon appetites.
