Do not buy anything from this store. I had bought a furniture set from here and it was all good, I called Shannon the manager (he's a guy) and he was very disrespectful and very rude when I was just trying to get answers and understand what happened. He then proceeded to tell me if I came into the store he would have me arrested. When he originally told me to come to the store lol. All I can say is don't buy furniture from this store it's not worth it, the workers are nice but Shanon is very rude, disrespectful and disgusting. I didn't realize that I never reviewed the rustic mile in in the woodlands. I've purchased coffee tables lamp stands office furniture and now my bedroom furniture sets . I obsoletely love my rustic look including my cowhide rugs. This past week the corner trim of the desk draw cracked. I called Thomas the manager he looked at what I purchased than followed up with, Which side of the desk was damaged than delivered the draw the next day ! Wow I had this desk around 9 months no questions how I damaged it just let's get this fixed . I bought a desk on special order 3 weeks ago, at the time I was told it would be about 4 weeks to receive. I called today and now I'm being told that it might be another 3 weeks before I receive it. That the lead time for special orders to is 6-8 weeks. If you need something they don't have in stock, I would suggest to go elsewhere, or be aware you might not receive your order for about 2 months. read more

We bought the furniture from The Rustic Mile furniture in Woodlands store, Texas in November 2020 and the bedroom furnitures was delivered in first week of January 2021. The delivery guys came very unprepared without proper tools, without furniture blankets and etc for professional delivery. They were not wearing booties for delivery. I have to hand over two new pair reusable booties which cost $5 dollars each to use at my house and let them keep it. I told those delivery guys to be careful with my wood floors yet the delivery guys damaged my newly installed wood floors which are expensive wood flooring in my house because they were not professional and didn't wrap the furnitures with blanket while carrying it; dropped and dragged on the wood floor which scratched the wood floor in several areas. We bought the house recently in 2020 and the wood floors were installed 3 months ago. When we reported the incident, The Rustic Mile store manager has committed to pay for the damage quoted by our wood floor company however he and his corporate office tried to be cheap and did not keep up to the commitment and re-negotiated with us the cost of the repair. We were not comfortable with wood floor repair company which The Rustic Mile store has suggested for us as we would lose the life-time warranty with the Flooring company which did the installation and the work is not guaranteed. The whole experience dealing with The Rustic Mile store manager and the store owner have caused so much mental agony, stress and time on our end. This purchase and delivery is suppose to be good customer experience for us but it was not. We are planning to take legal action against the company if we do not get paid the amount quoted for damage caused at our house. read more

Horrible experience! I purchased a piece of furniture that was back ordered for at least 4 months. I realized I could not wait that long to receive the furniture so asked they refund my money. They would not refund my money without charging me a hefty restocking fee. A "restocking" fee for a piece of furniture I never received!! It took days and several phone calls to get a manager to even call me back. I will never buy furniture from this store again and they had little regard for losing a repeat customer. read more

Update: Got a call from Shannon, a Manager with The Rustic Mile, a few days after this review was posted. Very professional and actually listened to what I had to say. To sum it up quickly, they agreed to exchange the furniture. Thomas had the exchange completed that evening. I believe the salesman and I both learned a valuable lesson in communication during this...be VERY specific when making a special order!! I hate for this to be the first review of the place, because the product and price are solid, but the service is not good. I ordered about 4K worth of furniture for my study and bedroom - all custom order. I was charged $175 for delivery and set up. When the furniture was delivered, the finish on my bedroom set was not perfect - it usually is made 'distressed' and I didn't want it that way, I requested a solid paint for it and some pieces were not solid paint (ok - I can live with a little touch up). What I cannot live with is when the delivery guys told me it was policy not to move my mattresses during the set up of the bed due to 'insurance concerns'. WTH??? I ended up having to talk to the owner who was shocked to hear this and said he would address it, but not shocked enough to offer to return any of the $$ I spent for the delivery and set up service. Plus, I now have paint touch up work to do. I love the product and for the price, this place beats other locations in town, but the experience has left a taste in my mouth that begs for water to wash it away......... makes me sad. read more

The price is good. The quality is good. The delivery is on time. But be careful of the tricks! 1. The shipping staff broke one corner of my bookcase but didn't let me know. You should check everything carefully before signing the sheet. 2. There were small holes and scratches in the sofa. They told me they would ship a new sofa in a week from North Carolina. But when arrived, it was exactly the one we saw in store!!!!! It was in worse condition than the original one. After I pointed it out, they told me that I could have the refund of the sofa or just accept it without making any discount! I pay $100 for the shipping! When I insisted for the discount, they told me they could took everything back and refund all the money to me to make me happy. While, I spent one month and drove hundreds of miles to select the furniture and it won't make me happy at all!! Actually I'm happy with the furniture, but feel cheated with the staffs. They should tell me they broke the bookcase. They should tell me they delivered a sample, not a brand new one from North Carolina. And if they do that, I would give 4 or 5 stars. read more

I cannot say enough good things about The Rustic Mile. Eve was so spirited and knowledgeable about the products. She let us browse on our own and was not pushy at all. She helped us piece items together to get the exact sets that we wanted. When delivery time came, Zack and Raul did a great job assembling our furniture are were absolutely the nicest guys ever. We were in need of some new furniture for our home. I looked around and the rustic mile had good prices for furniture and also was in the rustic style I love. I ordered a few items and they all are beautiful and I am pretty sure will last a long time as they are solid pieces of furniture. Delivery was awesome and they gave me touch up paint for my bed and also added a little stain to a chair that needed some. Great service all around. After looking at numerous rustic furniture stores around the city, this store, by far, has the best products, options, and prices. My husband and I visited the store on separate occasions and we both found the entire staff to be friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered an office desk, file cabinet, book shelf, entertainment center, center table and dining table. Every product came well made and beautifully stained to the color we chose. The delivery was on time and the staff that delivered the product moved the furniture exactly where requested and also came with touch up paint for any scratches or scuffs (which were extremely minimal) to the product. I highly recommend this store, their product and staff. Make sure you allow for delivery. Because their product is manufactured outside the U.S. the wait time is 4-6 weeks once the order is placed if it's not readily available in their store but the product is also well worth the wait. read more
