They brought down the giant connect four for them to play with while the adults played bocce. They even gave them cute hats and medals for rewards!! The whole establishment was very clean and well kept up. The lanes were very nice as well! Didn't get the chance to explore the whole place but it seemed like it went on forever. The buffet they provided for brunch was so delicious!!! Best buffet I've had by far. The sliced ham and other meats right there for you, had fresh waffles with tons of toppings. They even make omelets fresh in front of you! And there were a ton of other options of food, including my kids favorite pizza and chicken fingers haha! Used to be an AMF back in the day and you can see a lot of the remnants of it both inside and out. Customer service wasn't the greatest. The man up front, I believe his name was Doug seemed very reluctant to help us. When we arrived he was more concerned about a broken lane and told us to wait and that he'll be right back. There was also a couple of people who spoke directly at him including a woman who just wanted to say thank you on her way out and he just ignored them both. As far as the place itself, It's pretty easy to find your way around but not a fan of how the bowling balls are sorted. You pretty much have to go to other unoccupied lanes to search for a ball if your lane doesn't have what you're looking for. Wasn't a huge fan of the red ambiance either. I only bowled the one game but I'm not sure I could stay here for several hours under the red lights. Just doesn't feel too inviting.

It's definitely been redone since the last time that I've been in. It smelled clean and fresh as well. The kids were able to get a smaller ball at the front desk and if they were under the counter height, they were able to use the bumpers. Not sure why they are such a stickler on if you are taller you can't (I have TALL kids). We were able to bowl for two hours, but the balls kept getting stuck and we would have to call up to have them to have them push them through. We wasted a lot of time waiting on this to happen that we didn't even get through 2 entire games.

I bought a new ball from a different pro shop that didn't have time to drill it before they closed…read moreand referred me to here. I gave them a shot and I will never go back. Waited for two hours and my ball still wasn't drilled correctly. I get switch grips can be tricky but I've never had this experience anywhere else. They made me a slug to fit and said I could roll it that night and bring it back tomorrow to have another guy work on it. I did that. I brought one of my other balls to leave for measurements just incase. Told me he didn't need it. After I left a few hours went by and I was called and asked if I could bring one of my balls in the next 45 minutes before they closed. So after all that I go the next day to pick my balls back up and my new ball has two spots with a gap between the thumb slug and ball that I can fit a fingernail between there is a scuff on the ball near the thumb hole and there was glue residue left on my ball. I recommend you go anywhere else.

The day we were there, it felt like all bowling alleys used to feel. They have a family deal midday on the weekends, which comes to around $50 for up to six, and includes shoe rental. Pretty fair for what it offers, IMO. It was busy with birthday parties around us, but we were lucky to get a lane. There appears to be a wait during peak times. My youngest is four and we were taking bets on the side if she could get the ball down to the pins. It was super slo-mo, but discouraging for her. Fortunately they have these little ramps in the shape of a dragon where she can place the ball and send it, like it's going down a slide. Nice touch, and got her back into it. My youngest is 8 and she loved it. We loved that we could set up bumpers just for their turns, although I could've used them as I got going, that's for sure. All in all, an hour and a half or so of fun. The staff was so friendly. At one point I noticed I was full of requests; can you put the KU game on? Can we get one of those small kid ramp things? We you add bumpers for these two? Can I get a pitcher of water? Literally each request was met with kindness and a sense of good service. If you want to get the kids out of the house and do something fun, take a trip down memory lane and head over to Ward Parkway Lanes.
