What I appreciate about this store is that they also always have a great selection of Portuguese soccer gear, especially now that FIFA is on the way. The staff here is always very polite and willing to help you find the right item you are looking for. Another plus about this store is that they always have a section of clearance shoes which tends to have a good selection of items.

We've been visiting Falmouth since I was a boy. Recently, I caught the fishing bug fishing for…read morelarge mouth bass in the midwest. I thought it would be a fun challenge if my daughter and I could fish for striper bass off the shore. We visted Eastman's and the guys there gave us good advice and quality bait, lures, and gear. On our fifth evening fishing on Bristol Beach, we each caught nice sized stripers. We also visited another bait shop in Falmouth on Rt 28. Not only was the bait more expensive, the guy behind the counter was not wearing a mask during the pandemic. We promptly left and went back to Eastman's for our daily bait run. I highly recommend Eastman's Sport and Tackle if you are in Falmouth and looking to catch fish.

I had a old gift card that I had received from the North End Boston SOL Optics store which has since closed. I emailed SOL and Elizabeth responded. The GC could not be used on line, however once I found the glasses I wanted Elizabeth tracked them down to Board Stiff (affiliated with SOL). She called the manager of Board Stiff, Burt (who was also great!) and explained the situation. I called Burt, purchased my sunglasses over the phone and they shipped them to me. I am so appreciative of the help and support I received from both Elizabeth and Burt, I had to leave a comment. I 100% recommend both SOL Optics and Board Stiff. Thank you so much to Burt and Elizabeth!!

Very rude. Then when I went to cash out she was the person handling that, none of the items scanned with the sale pricing so she had to do it manually, did not know what she was doing and never asked me about the items I couldn't find earlier so I just bought them on line. I will go back but will avoid Patty.

It was a totally pleasant experience. My only concern is that the business is in an office building, set back from the street, with limited signage. Hopefully the town will allow more effective signage and help the business to thrive.

Do rent a bike from here and explore the Shining Sea trail (and beyond)!…read more The location is super convenient, just a block off of the bike trail. The rental process took less than 5 minutes. The bikes had enough gears to get you up and down the itty bitty hill on the way to the lighthouse. They also have a back pouch big enough to stow your bag. They include locks and helmets (required in MA for under 16) in the rental price. You could even take the ferry over to Martha's Vineyard if you plan better than we did (bikes need to be returned by 6pm).

Even recommended a place to grab lunch while on the trail. He made it so simple for this girl that is directionally challenged! The shop staff, I believe Matthew was his name, got our bikes ready along with helmets and locks. $27 per bike I thought was reasonable also. And we had the bikes all day if we chose, until shop close time of 6pm the day we rented. I have to say that I was extremely skeptical of this at first but daughter wanted to do this for her birthday. I HIGHLY recommend!! The scenery is beautiful and the path is relatively easy. The path is made for bikes and pedestrians which makes it great for not sharing the road with cars. Proper signage too.

It was non stop after that. We were living nearby for the year so I had ample opportunity to make purchases and I did. We also shopped a few place that year far from Falmouth when the occasion warranted, larger selection in cities when visiting others. But many special things came from Caline's. As I had another child later that year, who would need newborn sizes in summer clothes rather the already owned winter newborn choices I had ample opportunities to return. I was also able to buy for baby gifts for others. Whenever we return to Falmouth, we also ways take a peek at their store. This was no exception. It was full of stylish, practical child choice in a wide range of sizes, along with cute baby goods and gift treats. And fall and winter well covered in late September. The two staff members we talked to were very pleasant and confirmed for me that the store was still locally owned, currently the 4th owner since its founding over 4 decades ago. They did not have the sort of hat we had purchased long ago, because I doubt they are still commercially made. But a really good choice for a kid back then. And if I was looking for clothes for a kid today, there were many well known and well made brands to choose from.
