They had a recent renovation, which made the interior look a lot lot better than what I remember and it looks like somewhere you'd choose to spend a whole evening in. I was told that they launched a good food menu, as they now have a nice kitchen, but sadly didn't get a chance to try while I was in. It's just a cosy, friendly local pub and I can honestly say if I still lived in the area, I'd be back from time to time for a swift pint.

Steak Night (Tuesday) is a popular time to visit, as is Curry Night (Thursday). If you like hot curries, try the vindaloo (it's intense!). If your expecting gourmet food, you'll be disappointed.
