Ontario Luxe Reel Theatre - Popcorn and pop all over the floor first showing of the morning

We don't go to the movies very often, but I decided to take my daughter to see Hopper's Saturday…read moremorning. Walked into the theater and up to our seats and another. Mom is walking around disgusted and points out all the popcorn and spilled soda on the floor and made a comment about. I thought they cleaned these things. I said I used to work in a theater when I was younger and that was our job at the end of the night was to make sure the theaters were ready in the morning so this is actually very disappointing and disgusting. There was popcorn on the seats in the little cup holders all over the floors along with the spilled soda. I don't know about the rest of the theater because all of us were mostly in the top row. It was the first showing of the morning so there should have been no excuse for it being that dirty. Everything else was okay but really need to clean better.

We've been to this theatre three times now. I would guess they only clean the theatres once a day,…read morebecause the two times we've gone at night, it was absolutely filthy. Popcorn everywhere, chocolate smeared on the seats and the floors, trash left in cup holders, etc. Apart from the cleanliness, it's a decent theatre. The popcorn and drinks are always good and the workers are nice. I wish we had a nicer theatre in the area but it's better than nothing!

This past Summer I went to this theater not once but TWICE!…read more I say it like that bc in the time that it's been open...I had never gone. Always went to the village. Went to see Jurassic World and Superman here. Loved both movies. Love the theater. For some reason I thought it would be bigger tho..or at least the lobby. I know, random lol, but I was surprised to see how small the lobby area is compared to other theaters. The theater itself is kinda small. Still, a great place to see a movie. We went for the matinee for both...to avoid crowds. Thank God for that bc each time we were leaving, place was packed on our way out. That made super happy to see....to see people still going to movie theaters despite what people say online and elsewhere. As a 90s kid when movie theaters were life! Haha especially 90s kids who grew up in a small city where we didn't have much to do...the movies being one of the biggest things to do... Point is lol, there's nothing better than seeing a movie like Jurassic World or Superman in theaters. Hell, any movie really. I hope theaters are around forever. So when you go to a movie now and see it busy like this place was...even during the matinee, it's nice. Then theater itself is suuuuuper clean! There was a mess up front where people spill shit and don't bother to clean it up, but that's to be expected?! People can be selfish and not even tell staff. Aside from that, it's impressive to see how spotless this place is. And at the very end of the movie, the staff floods into the theater to clean up. I know they do that everywhere, but there were like 10 of them when we were trying to watch the extra ending to Superman....which we felt weird with them all waiting on us...so we bounced and boooo didn't see the extra ending lol. No biggie. They were super nice about it. Prices are what you'd expect. Cheaper than the village, but comparable to most. That's the only complaint I'd have. Prices for theaters have jumped dramatically! Like ... dramatically! I get why they increased their prices, but ooof! That with buying a drink or whatever...shit is definitely pricey. The Coke pic I posted...medium was like ... $6! SIX. DOLLARS!! Chyle! That's a no from me hahaha! They have super comfortable "luxury" recliners. That's pretty awesome. Most theaters are doing this, I think? I dunno. Either way, it definitely makes watching the movie better. Still better than watching at home. Streaming is great and all, but ugh it's ruined so much. The staff is super friendly. Kinda shy a lot of them but they were nice. That of course always helps bc in so many (most) retail type stores/places the employees are so detached and want nothing to do with the people they're supposed to be helping lol...the people they applied to work for/with haha! So yeah, it's nice to see a friendly staff. This may have been just my first and second time here. I'll definitely be back. (Probably thought I'd say "but it won't be my last!" That would have been so corny tho hahaha) It's a great theater. I know most have already been but if you haven't...it's definitely worth it. Oh and the Art Deco-y atmosphere is super cool! Absolutely love that. Thanks, YelperMovIeGoerrrs! Cheers!

It was clean and the seats are comfortable. My two young kids had a great time watching the movie! The bathrooms were clean, my only complaint is that they didn't have paper towels to dry your hands and we won't use the blow dryers (those blow out mold and bacteria). They were also out of nachos which was a little disappointing but Im sure it wasn't a normal occurrence. We will be back again!

Boise Classic Movies rents space at the Egyptian Theatre to bring Boise amazing classic films. I've…read morehad the pleasure of seeing their presentations of Indiana Jones, Grease, Labyrinth, The Princess Bride, 16 Candles, ET, and Young Frankenstein--so much fun! What I love about the series is that, not only are you afforded the opportunity to see classic films on the big screen (in the case of ET? Nothing better than the bicycle scene on the big screen! Seriously!), but you also get to see that film in a theater full of people who love it as much as you do! People cheer the heroes, boo the villains, sometimes shout lines ("Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."), and the whole thing usually ends in applause. Grease even turned into a bit of a singalong (Look at me, I'm Sandra Dee...). Boise Classic Movies also arranges to bring in a bar during their films, so you can get a glass of wine or local craft beer (Payette Brewing's Mutton Buster Brown was on tap the last time I was there!). The Egyptians concessions are also open for the usual popcorn/candy/soda fare. They even gather nominations on their website if there's a classic film you're just dying to see on the big screen. Once they gather the nominations, you can go on their site and vote for your favorite. I'm looking forward to end of November/December as I understand they're primed to do a whole Christmas series of classic films!! Love it! Get to it!!
