She has a lot of unusual flavors like buckeyes and strawberry wedding cake and peach melba and German chocolate and almond and birthday cake which even has a smiley face on it ! And some of them are seasonal flavors so you won't get bored here. They do have different specials different days of the week and Friday as I write this you can pick six of any flavors you would wanna mix and match and it is $10 out the door . Yes, they do take cash or plastic . (not all small businesses do, because of the extra fees which at this point is 3% that they take out of the small business - which is just evil in my opinion , so please try to pay cash if you can and help out our local vendors.) They also have cookies and cake pops, and they have some little doggy cupcakes as well . The cupcakes are about the same size as the muffins that you would see for sale at a supermarket . They do also have the little mini kind that are two bites in size. There's plenty of parking and it's easy to find once you realize it's a standalone small building . Nothing flashy.

I moved back to the Akron area a couple years ago and love making the 20 minute trek to this fabulous place. First, the selection is incredible. Next, the quality is next level! The grains + flour + ingredients they use... and the resulting goodies. But somehow the place is unpretentious + fairly priced. Some of my favorite things so far: the buns (are you thinking "how good can buns be?" Well, you are going to find out), the oatmeal raisin bread (a dream, a balance of hearty + earthy + sweet... toasted MYGOD), the cheese stick (funky chewy bliss), and the dark chocolate spelt cookie. Can't wait to try everything else. Clapping + cheering for the bakers + proprietors, Amy

They have a good selection of breads including loaves, focaccias and rolls. The pastries are very nice, with croissants, danishes, cookies and scones. There is also a cooler with ready to bake quiches and pizzas. Service is nice and casual, although the service area is compact but they keep things moving. I also appreciate there is a rack with half priced day old breads. When you have really high quality bread you can still enjoy it a day later. Quite a surprise to find such a nice bread bakery in a somewhat out of the way place. If you are in the area well worth a stop to enjoy some great baked goods and stock up.

Inside, there are a bunch of Amish folks waiting to serve you. On this visit, I tasted a chicken bacon ranch breakfast roll, a hot pretzel, some strawberry cake, and maple pecan cake. By far, my favorite item was the hot pretzel. It had just a touch of sweetness to it along with the traditional salty flavor. The texture of the dough was perfect. It had the right amount of moisture, chew, and flavor. It was hot and absolutely delicious. The chicken bacon ranch roll was not balanced. It was served hot and wrapped in foil, but it was missing something, like a yummy sauce or veggie crunch. I think there was too much chicken in it, relative to the amount of other ingredients. So it felt like I was just eating a roll stuffed with chicken. While the chicken tasted good, it needed something else to balance it. The strawberry cake was just okay. I think regular strawberry cassata cake is better though. And the maple pecan cake was just meh. I'll be back to try some other items soon!
