Kate Paul is an incredible party director- she comes with a lot of experience and it shows. Not only she has a full book of all the vendors you may need, she is ultra organized and professional! I loved working with Kate! Kate has a lot of great ideas that will help in making your party unique. Her assistant Matt was also very professional and made sure everything was running smoothly during the party. They both delivered a high quality service! All night I was hearing praises from our guests about the beautiful space and well organized party. I'm so glad I found this venue and I will certainly be having more events there. :) Our party was a true success!

After inquiring about this venue online, I was immediately contacted by Kate Paul, who assisted me throughout the entire process of planning my event. In fact, that is an understatement because Kate did more than assist me, and I must say that I would not have been able to pull off such an amazing event without her guidance, support, and assistance. Kate was very knowledgeable about event planning, and since this was the first event that I coordinated on my own, she was thoughtful enough to give me guidance in everything from catering and bar service, to project management and décor recommendations. Kate was indeed my angel sent from the event planning gods; she was very professional, accommodating, understanding, and patient throughout the entire process. As for the venue, it was everything that I could have hoped for! It would be an honor to have the opportunity to host another event at this venue! I can honestly say that you will not regret hosting your event at Venue 66.

We live in a neighborhood where the July 4th festivities are too festive if you catch my drift, so…read morewe decided to try a staycation somewhere quieter and calmer. That's how we found the Meyer & Renee Luskin Conference Center. I figured with UCLA students gone for the summer the campus and Westwood Village would be a dead zone. I figured that neither the people living in high rises on Wilshire nor the people living in Mansions north of Sunset would be launching fireworks or having block parties and I was right. Westwood village was peaceful and campus was quiet. The only time we heard a loud noise was when a medivac helicopter landed at the hospital nextdoor. We were able to go for walks around campus with our dog and we all got to rest and relax and not be on edge because of loud fireworks. It was lovely! From the moment we pulled up and were greeted by the parking attendant to when we got our keys at registration, the entire arrival experience was exceptional. Our room was clean and we had everything we needed. We enjoyed watching the World Cup Game in our room and the hotel bar. We also had an outdoor lunch at the hotel's restaurant Plateia, We enjoyed our stay and so did our dog.

This conference center is really nice and paired with the terrific LA weather, makes for a lovely ambiance. Parking is a bit of a hassle here but you can park in the Structure 8 lot across the street and it cost $17/day, which isn't too bad. Still not as outrageous as NYC prices. Conference room was perfect, all the AV worked well and lunch was pretty good. The outdoor space here is really lovely and I got to sit outside during breaks and soaked up some sun like an amphibian on a rock haha. Overall, really enjoyed the space here. Definitely take a break here when visiting UCLA campus. Id come back here when back on UCLA campus.

It was my first time and I knew of the place but never came by as a staff before. I ordered the shashuka dish, very delicious, I was thinking of avocado toast but because there were not photos, I wasn't sure if it would be filling. But after seeing others with it, it was big! The shashuka was delicious, poached eggs with toast and had plenty of warm tomatoes to pair. The patio table had a beautiful view of hilgard blvd and houses and the sun wasn't so bright making the weather perfect. Now that I got to try it, it might be worth coming for a casual lunch.

The tuna was tender and fresh and obviously high quality, as was all the fish. All I ate was fish and fresh salads. There was an asparagus salad, a beet salad, and a strawberry spinach salad. I didn't have room in my tummy for the made to order omelet station, the roast beef or the ham carving station! I usually hit those up also, but today I was in awe over the fish. The cooked salmon entree was perfection also. The desserts, as always, were delectable. All the staff members are so personable and go out of their way to make you happy. A shout out to Jeffery, our waiter, who brought us wonderful mimosas, bloody Mary's and iced coffees. He was so nice to us. The chef brought made sure we had a sweet brioche wreath for our table, even though the outside tables didn't have one. He was so kind to specially have one brought to us, and we devoured most of it! So fluffy. What an extra nice item to beautify the tables and enjoy too. The women managers were lovely to us, and I wish I remembered their names! I almost forgot to mention the art rambles, Easter egg hunt, live Easter bunny and Easter egg hunt for the kids. I am excited to bring my grandkids next year ! Also, Faculty Club looks amazing after its total remodel during COVID.

I put a deposit down previously, but my party members had the option to pay for their karaoke time individually the day of. I got extra time for my grace period since the other people in my group were running late. I still encourage anyone that comes here to show up on time because you never know if the venue has any back to back reservations. The rooms are equipped with some sort of low neon-colored lighting to set the vibe, and deep, soft couches. The only con that I have is that the rooms can get stuffy and the one air vent that was in our room didn't provide us with enough ventilation. For songs you can use the Singa app or look up your instrumentals on YouTube. The room that I was in had four microphones for singers to use. We weren't able to adjust the volume for Singa/YouTube playback, or adjust the volume on our microphones but we made it work. My friends and I have already brought up returning.

You can buy snacks. The staff was super kind. It's a great space and concept. The room was just the right amount PLUS there were 2 couches so you can fit enough people in that room. The parking lot is small with limited spaces BUT there's ample street parking. We had a bit of technical difficulties but they made it right and gave us extra time. There are many songs to choose from.
