We went for the "Fish Fryday" special. All you can eat pollock with fries, cole slaw, bread. To start you get 2 good sized pieces of fish. The meat of the fish was great. The beer battered skin looked great, but it was soggy on the inside. We placed an additional order, you get 1 piece of fish per additional serving,and it was the same way, the meat inside was good, but the breading was still soggy. Also we were never told the price of the special and it wasn't in the ad we saw that brought us to their restaurant. $13.something. I would not go back for the "fish fryday" special.

It seems greatly unfair and highly unprofessional to place the burden of delivering funeral flowers to someone outside of our family and close friends while we are still grieving the loss of our loved one. The funeral home staff themselves were shocked & embarrassed by this unprofessional behavior. Funerals are difficult enough without added stress, and the lack of sensitivity and professionalism shown here was hurtful and completely unacceptable. We would not recommend this business to anyone seeking compassion and respect during such a vulnerable time.

The turf made it easy to walk with heels and the trees helped provide more of a romantic secluded environment. The reception area had an outdoor tent area (for the post ceremony appetizers and drinks) and an indoor area (for the formal dinner). Can't say anything from a planning/organization standpoint but everything went smoothly from a guest's perspective and it was a lovely area to attend a wedding.

The ground are lovely. Grass is well kept, gazebo sets at the edge of a well kept pond and the parking is sufficient. The handicap accessability is seriously lacking. For ANYONE with physical limitations, including the use of cane, walker, wheelchair, or who has limited mobility but drives themselves, it's miserable. The hill from the parking lot to the entrance is very steep. The interior is quaint and the staff is courteous. The room (s) are adequate and have a beautiful view. The food is sub-par (at best). We tasted it prior to the wedding and were assured the poor quality then was not representative of the food served at events - yet, it absolutely was. At 20+/plate I would expect far greater than what was served. There was not one entre sample worth eating, which was quite unfortunate. For those interested in The Silo, I strongly recommend eliminating dinner as it's a waste of money. Be aware, NO FOOD is allowed unless it was prepared there. This is a true shame as the Grill House always has excellent food.

Beds were comfortable, and the innkeeper, Sheila prepared a sumptuous dinner and breakfast for us during our stay. The screened in porch overlooked a lush meadow bordered by natural woods teaming with birds and local wildlife. Numerous well stocked ponds are throughout the property For those angler guests. This estate reflects the owners desire to be a quiet tranquill getaway for her guests. A true find in the area.
