Our guests' needs were pretty complex (multiple allergies, vegetarians, children, etc), and they handled it kindly and seamlessly. The servers were great (Jessica and Tim, I think?) and Charlie, the catering manager, was absolutely a delight! We had a small problem that Charlie rectified before anyone was even aware it was an issue. Kim, who helped us set up our menu in the first place, was also great. She let us do two different tastings with her to finalize a menu that would accommodate our guests, answered all of my emails promptly, and made one of the most important parts of any wedding feel like a breeze. Everyone loved the food and unique presentations. The staff were incredibly friendly and flexible and a joy to work with. They made me feel so important, like this was the biggest day of the year for them and I know they are very busy. I can't say enough positive about them but by far the most helpful thing was something rather unexpected. About 2 months before the wedding, I met with them over the phone and in person to go over their pre-wedding questionnaires. Not only did this form help make sure we were on the same page with absolutely every detail, the process helped me realize some areas where I had been a little delinquent in my planning. There's no doubt in my mind CK would've exceeded expectations. Not only are they very responsive to emails and calls, they remained helpful with any questions we had. Our families had done a taste testing with them, and everyone had loved everything CK presented. From the main courses, to the sides, and even the toppings. Everything was phenomenal. They even had a display and options on how you want your table set, from different glassware, plates, etc etc. I don't remember what kind of juice they were presenting that I went back for too many times, even that was delicious haha. Saving the best for last. The main thing that drew me to CK was they offered a day of wedding coordinator. We were so fortunate to work with Melissa. She is responsive, clearly knows what she's doing, and is more helpful than we could've asked for. She listens, she plans, and she is so dang sweet. I could've talked to her for hours, she makes you feel comfortable. I trusted her with my wedding, and I would've continued to do so through and through. And highly, highly recommend her. We had originally talked about June 26 2020 and then she told me actually Fridays don't work. I emailed her back June 25 with days that worked and then had to follow up after not hearing from her. July 7 is when she finally got back to me. We set up for July 20, the night prior I emailed her and she stated that we had to cancel because she just got tested for COVID. She then pushed us out until September. The day we were supposed to meet she no showed. I called her when she was 10 minutes late and she sent me to voicemail. She called back saying she had totally forgotten about our meeting...... she then later texted me stating it was probably a good thing because she was exposed to COVID. I then decided to proceed with another florist seeing as shes not reliable. I asked for my deposit back. She stated she would send it but has since ghosted me and will not respond to my emails. I would stay away. The poor planning on her part, the forgetfulness is uncalled for. You need someone you can trust for your day and if they can't show up to a meeting how can you trust them for your big day?
