I went here twice before and it was good. Went back this time and it sucked. I ordered the sweet and sour pork and fried rice. The fried rice was bad and the sweet sour pork wasnt good. Instead fried pork balls with sauce I got sliced pork no sweet and sour sauce. The waiter told me the sauce was mixed with the veggies sorry pal but your wrong no sauce was present. Pueblo West has better asian food like happy thai which knows how to cook sweet and sour and has excellent fried rice. read more

The way a restaurant deals with a problem is always interesting. In this case, I was served a flat beer. I take it the keg was low. No problem: have two different ones courtesy the restaurant. Major respect! We also had steamed spicy edamame' which was very good: not too spicy but with a bite. Pork with vegetables was good but honestly, I've had better at other places. This restaurant is located in a nice area near the river. We ate here on a Friday so there was live music down the street and outside seating. Food was delicious. My boyfriend and I split one entree of udon noodles and it was plenty of food for the both of us. The server was very nice and attentive. He gave us 2 side orders of salad and soup which was nice since we were sharing one entree. Only thing is the meat portions were a little small with about 5 pieces of beef. read more

We ordered several family-sized meals to share between six people, and the portions were perfect for sharing. RiverWok offers a mix of Korean, Japanese, and Chinese dishes, all served with soup and your choice of rice. We tried the Bulgogi, Pork Katsu, Beef & Broccoli, and Beijing-style Fish. Each dish had its own distinct flavor, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. The Bulgogi was especially tender and flavorful, while the Pork Katsu had a great crisp texture. The Beijing-style Fish was a pleasant surprise -- perfectly seasoned and flaky. Service was friendly and attentive, and the food came out promptly despite how busy it was. It was not great..... But it was not horrible..... We loved the Family Style options. We ordered an appetizers with crab and they were AMAZING! We all liked the soup and half liked the salad. For dinner we ordered Beef Teriyaki, Sweet and Sour Chicken and shrimp fried rice. The SS Chicken we touch and not much sauce. The beef was good but the sauce was overtly sweet. The rice was great. My wife and I were excited to try this place on the last day of 2025. Sadly, our experience was less than stellar. The moment we sat down it took us about 10-15 minutes to get a drink. Not too bad but sitting at the bar it's usually faster especially when there's only three people at the bar. Me, wife, and another lone patron. Once we were served our two draft beers and we took our celebratory cheers we noticed our draft beers had a very gross taste. Like the taps were not clean our something. The beers had a moldy taste and smell. We were then given two bottled beers and those were good, however, you can tell the owner or bartender girl was annoyed with our request. We then ordered two appetizers. Egg rolls and the won tons. Those were ok but on the smaller side of appetizers but no biggie as we planned to order a dinner entree anyhow. So another 15-20 minutes go by. Our beers are now empty. Our water glasses empty. We're trying to make eye contact and get some customer service without being rude or obnoxious, so we can order another round and get our waters topped off but the owner/bartender girl never comes to our seats and she avoids any bit of communication with us. They were a little bit busy but no reason to have poor customer service and communication. Finally after 25-30 minutes we got our order taken but no drinks. So we're waiting for our food order and another 20-25 minutes go by but no food comes out. Everyone else is getting waited on but I think due to the beer issue it's like we're now unwanted as customers. 30 minutes go by and no food or drinks. It was at that time I wanted to cash out and nobody came to our seats. I walked out without paying as the entire experience was a mess. I've heard ok things about this place and sadly the customer service is awful and incompetent. We end up driving to Texas Roadhouse and within 20 minutes we had water, bread rolls, her plate she ordered, my 16oz steak ordered and a bag of peanuts, and excellent customer service. I try to support local businesses to help them thrive and try to avoid the corporate environment especially at that location because businesses tend to not stay a long time tbut sadly in this case the corporate system won. The Riverwok needs quite a few changes. Change out the taps and or clean them. Clean the bar area as it was a dirty mess and not very well maintained. Change the attitude of the bartender/owner. There's no reason to treat customers like that. I may give it another try during the week but last night for New Years was a disaster. I always pay good money for customer service and sadly they didn't meet my expectations which are usually pretty low. Give me cold beers, warm food, and a smile and that's all I need...Maybe next time Riverwok, but you all definitely need some changes!!! Goodbye Riverwok and hello Texas Roadhouse!!! read more

This was probably the best experience I have had dinning out at a restaurant. Not only was the location beautiful, right on the river, but the restaurant itself was gorgeous as well. The service was incredible. I brought my service dog and he was welcomed with open arms. They allow all dogs in their outdoor seating. The food was so good and the drinks were beautiful. The most important part, everyone was so kind. We were constantly being checked on and greeted with a friendly face. We ordered fried rice. It wasn't ready when the rest of our food was so they gave us white rice to start, then fried rice when it was ready. Best part, they took the fried rice off of our bill. Lastly, they made an entire plate specially for my dog. No extra charge. It was a great experience. Will definitely be going back. read more

For the flavor, I'd give it a good 3.5/5 stars. The flavor is definitely accustomed to the community here in Pueblo and it's unfortunate that we can't have a little bit more authenticity. The food could've been served with a banchan since it's Korean food. Service was good since it wasn't too busy during the lunchtime. I love the food here, but this story is about the service. My husband has a hard time choosing food because he has no teeth, plus other issues. He ordered the sesame chicken, but was unable to chew the meat. We spoke to the manager, and she made him an order of chicken fried rice, no charge. We took his sesame chicken home for me to eat later. She was super friendly and helpful. We often get snotty responses from other restaurants when this happens, or no help or advice on helping him find something to eat. The staff is friendly and accommodating to those with special needs. I already love the food and relaxing atmosphere, so we will definitely be going back again. read more

Very tasty, but no sauce per se. Next time I'll try one of the Beijing sauce dishes. Salad with an in-house dressing and a salty miso soup were good! The restaurant is located on the river walk, bordered by trees adorned with strings of white lights. Romantic as dusk turns to night. I'd love it if the RiverWok added some low fat menu options with freshly sautéed vegetables (and sauce on the side). Then I could eat there and leave feeling healthy. read more

What a wonderful thing when the ambience is as good as the food. We started with a round of appetizers including Choe edamame which has a nice sweet and spicy flavor. Followed up with family style pork katsu, bulgogi, broccoli beef, and Beijing snapper. All had a sauce that was delicious and compliments the dish. We have eaten here 4 times now. The service has always been good. The food items we like is the Beijing beef and Beijing chicken dishes, they are excellent. The teriyaki chicken and Beef Bulgogi is just ok. The Fried rice we are not so fond of. Texture is different than traditional fried rice. My wife is half Japanese and growing up on Ft Carson lots of Korean and Japanese friends so we eat a lot of asian food. The prices are not bad. Next time we are going to try their soup dishes, they look good. Ambiance is nice and upscale. read more

We ate at the River Wok for the first time in January and we're hooked. We've been back multiple times and also took family there to try it. I don't want to focus on price too much, but it's a such a good value. You get a lot of food for the price, especially lunch. I'm obsessed with the Miso soup that comes with the entree. We've had the spicy edamame & crab wontons for appetizer. Both are delicious, and really like the spice level on the edamame. For entries we've tried the Pork Katsu, Hong Kong beef, General Choe's chicken, Bulgogi, Beef & Broccoli & Beijing Chicken. I want to order these same things every time, but I force myself to try other items and every time I have a new favorite. Some of the best food I've had, and we've traveled a lot! I showed up with my wife and 10-month-old and was immediately greeted with a warm reception and told to sit wherever we'd like. The wait staff followed us with water and menus and briefly described them. We ordered the spicy edamame, which was unique but delicious. We immediately noted that the individual edamame was pretty big, appeared fresh, and was excellently sourced. I ordered one of my go-to items when enjoying Asian cuisine: spicy fried chicken rice. The plate was pretty, and the rice was the perfect level of hot--nothing crazy, but enough to enhance the other great flavors of the dish. My wife chose the all-star dish of our visit: the broccoli beef. It was incredibly good. When we got back in the car, my wife said, "That might honestly be the best beef and broccoli I've ever had." She'd had some pretty epic dishes of the same variety throughout our travels, so this was saying a lot. It was all about the sauce, and that sauce was delicious. The wait staff was attentive and just brought over a pitcher of water once they realized we were very thirsty. Food came out in a timely manner, and it was affordable, especially during the lunch special! Overall, I highly recommend this place. It might be your new favorite. Went to the Riverwok last weekend. Made reservation. We arrived, no reservation written down. Jay found us a table instantly. The wait was a bit. Jay came over and took our order because our server was busy. I wanted to say even though we had a wait the food was excellent and worth the wait.
