Went in here for lunch about a month ago. The salad plate was adequate although some of them could have been a lot more interesting and one was rather odd.
It was very crowded and I sat down at a table with some people who had been waiting for their food for a long time. When the waitress brought mine (about 10 mins or so to put some salad portions on a plate and carry the plate about 20 feet!) it turned out the couple should have been told there was a delay with cooked food but had not been. Too many people had ordered quiche and they had had to cook some more but the cafe only has a tiny oven, apparently. This seems a bit odd for such a busy cafe with so many seats in so many sections on various floors.
When I was leaving (not wildly late for lunch) they had run out of several of the salads and were not going to make any more. A man was getting a bit exasperated at the thought of paying that much for only about three different salads. Maybe they have a tiny fridge as well and therefore can't make sufficient in advance to feed all the people who turn up for lunch every day!
All in all a pleasant cafe but could do a great deal better. read more
