    Strawberry Martini
    Sakura P.

Came here for the first time and started off with some artichoke dip, table side bread and a potato soup. The potato soup was easily the best appetizer. It was very creamy and there's bits and pieces of soft potato within the soup. The artichoke dip was just okay - wished the table side bread and the bread that came with it was hot and fresh (was a bit stale). For the entree I got a prime rib medium well and I will say it's probably the best thick cut piece of prime rib I've gotten in a while. So much meat on it and well worth it! It came with a sauce and I asked for horse radish as well. The vegetables on the side were nothing special but the rice was deliciously seasoned. The waitress recommended a strawberry martini and while you may think it might be very alcoholic tasting, it actually just tasted like strawberry lemonade! Lastly, we got crème brûlée and it was very creamy and not too sweet. We were also celebrating a birthday so they brought out a slice of carrot cake for the birthday guest. This carrot cake was DELICIOUS. I wish it was on the menu in general! Our waitress took great care of us and got us everything we needed. Our food came out within ten minutes. The dining setting is very fancy and very clean so we definitely enjoyed the ambiance. Would definitely come again on a special occasion.

The Food was excellent, the service was excellent and the dining room was excellent... what else could you ask for? Oh the Bar was excellent too!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Walking in 2 host girls asked if we had a reservation and we said no. Couldn't get the girls name that actually tried and looked around the room for tables and got us a table. The other girl kept saying "theres no space" "no reservations available" she kept saying it over and over to the other girl that helped us. We told her THANK YOU for getting us in. & both girls said thank you. We told the one that kept saying "no space/reservation" NO NOT YOU! (OHH & ALL TABLES WERE EMPTY) We sat down, the same girl that helped us offered us drinks and told us what they have! This girl that helped get us in and offered drinks is the BEST!!! If you see this you are AWESOME!! Wanted to leave you a TIP, but was afraid that would go with the SERVER, which sadly was horrible. She leff and told the server about our drinks. Server came and asked us what to drink. We all asked for Strawberry Lemonade. She said theres is NO STRAWBERRY LEMONADE. We said ok that's fine, so we got something else. A family sits down behind us, but was attended by a different server. Server offered drinks and 1 of customers asked for Strawberry Lemonade and server said OK. I was like "what I though they didn't have any?" Waited to see if that server brings the drink and SHE DID. So when the server from our table comes back we said "why did you tell us there is NO STRAWBERRY LEMONADE" when the customer behind us got the drink. Her STUPID EXCUSE; we went to the store and bought more. LOL BULLSHIT; there is only 1 entrance, and no one came in with the drink! Pasta wasn't good: Needed Salt. Chicken was good. My families plates were to salty. Manager/Owner check your cameras get a NEW SERVER+HOST! We were sitting by the window @7-8ish on 01/07/23. Giving you a time & date so you can check yourself.

There was a three-hour wait but expected as those were the new location. When we got in it took 20 minutes for drinks and another 10 for one appetizer, the bread and honey covered butter was delicious. My husband ordered the 18oz rib eye steak, he asked it to be cooked medium, he got medium well, but the cut was horrible for the 40-plus dollars we paid. I ordered the chicken entree that came with broccolini and potatoes, my broccolini hard and stale. My chicken was way overcooked and hard with hardly any flavor. The brussel sprouts we ordered came with thick bacon pieces and herbs, this item was good. The house salads we ordered were good as well, served in a cold bowl. We never got a refill for our drinks. We paid well over 100 dollars and will never be back! We should have spent 20 bucks for a hot dog! The area was quiet with the television playing in the background. The bar seemed nice.

We recommend River Steak House at Eagle Mountain Casino. Ask for Sean! Great Food! Great Service!

Prime Rib 14oz with mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. Don't let that fat fool you. Plenty of meat. Two days worth actually.

We came in on a Friday night around 5:30 there was only 1 table seated. Don't let that fool you. The service was wonderful(Felicia). She was amazing at helping and understanding. I ordered the prime rib(14oz) and it was largest and thickest 14oz. The mashed potatoes were so darn good. They had two choices on vegetables and I clearly got the better of the two. Brussel sprouts and tomatoes. The one reason I am not giving this a 5 star was the French onion soup. It was beyond gross. The bread that was layered on it was soggy and the I couldn't help but feel the onions were so burnt that the flavor seeped. But there are other choices than that. So my advice choose wisely. This is an upscale price range but casual attire. The cost of 4 people was 120.00

When arrived to dinner no one address you or welcomes you, restaurant has a old dirty smell to it. Order steak wrapped Asparagus as appetizers and they were all out, how can you be all out at when you just open for the night? When our order came out green bean we're soggy. Steak was good as well as the lobster, down side was seeing the staff eating in the food prep area where our food was coming from. Stuffing their faces with lobster and not washing their hands when come back to our table. Last time I will eat here. Save your money and go to a real steak house for these ridiculous prices.

Considering I saw the tostadas being removed from a grocery bag, I'm assuming they weren't made in house. My order came with forks, tostadas, hot sauce, ketchup, and saltine crackers. *Aguachile: the portion was very small and there was barely any flavor. The shrimp had the slightest bit of acidity but I'm shocked by the lack of lemon juice and green Enchilosa sauce. There was a singular slice of avocado on top. Most of the container was composed of red onions and cucumbers. The red onions were dry, hence I refuse to believe that this dish had any proper preparation. *Ceviche Especial: wow was this so dry. The octopus and shrimp were way overcooked. Instead of shrimp ceviche, I received a strange clump of shredded imitation crab. This was similarly topped with a single slice of avocado. There was no aspect of seasoning or citrus in this entire meal. The lack of freshness and flavor was astounding. A positive was that I didn't get food poisoning from this meal. However, I wasn't able to finish either dish because they were both poor examples of Mexican seafood.

Had heard great things about this restaurant and finally decided to give it a try. The menu was composed of fairly common dishes found at most Mexican restaurants. I'll review the dishes we tried. First, we had some carne asada tacos. The meat was seasoned and cooked well, topped on fresh made corn tortillas. Garnished with onion, cilantro and fresh salsas. Would have again. Their fish was freshly fried and seasoned well. Nice crisp skin and super moist flesh. The garlic butter I requested added an additional layer of flavor. The refried beans were delicious and well as the rice. The side salad was complimentary to the fish as it was refreshing and citrusy. I enjoyed my meal to say the least. I definitely will visit again.

Yesterday I tried the newer Hawaiian place across town and because JJ Hawaiian BBQ was the only one I've ever had before I was expecting something really good but that wasn't my experience there so today I woke up still wanting something good. I placed an order but this time tried something that I have never had before here. Although I've liked everything I've eaten here one of my standard favorites has been the salad with the added spicy chicken but today I ordered the Hawaiian plate that had two items and I chose the spicy chicken and for something new I decided to try the grilled shrimp. Sometimes shrimp can be a little "too shrimpy" you know when it's got a very strong fishy shrimpy thing going on and it's not great but this was delicious! This comes with rice as well so I mixed some of the chicken and shrimp up in the rice together and it was a very satisfying meal. I also ordered the Thai iced tea today which I don't often drink because of the calories but it tasted good and I would definitely recommend it. Once again I have never been disappointed in anything here. My orders have always been right and the food is delicious. I absolutely love their salads and you can change them up every time with a different protein. I definitely don't think they have anything to worry about with the new place opening up across town because there is absolutely no comparison JJ Hawaiian BBQ is so much better!
