That put us off as he was quite abrupt and how are customers meant to buy the products when we can't smell or test them? Quite stupid and we left straight after. Coffee and tea selection is ok. There is a nice selection of memorabilia and souvenirs for sale as well. The gentleman behind the counter explained that a variety of locals leave their homemade crafts there for sale so it was a nice mix with the cheap overseas imports. There are ceramic animals, scarves, bags, souvenirs and even umbrellas for the tropical weather. My breakable purchase was wrapped in bubble wrap without extra charge and I bought numerous items which went straight on credit card. I do hope this little shop still exists when I return to this beautiful part of Queensland.

And let's face it, Montville is tourist town so you're always going to pay a premium. We loved our experience here. My only disappointment as I was driving, was not being able to sample a lovely white wine with my meal. This would have topped everything off perfectly. The owner is an extremely friendly man who works as a part time writer and letterer; part of his shop is dedicated to selling art supplies for budding comics artists. The shop also actively supports the Australian independent comics community by selling a number of locally produced titles. Friday Night Magic is a regular event here, as are Thursday night board games nights. For players and parents alike there is a small coffee service available as well as cold drinks. The coffee is also quite good. Overall the shop is open, friendly, well stocked and neat, something that's always a pleasure to see in shops that are notorious for being cluttered and dark. Nambour has an amazing little store in this place that's a delightful addition to their downtown district.
