The yard is filled with every statue and ornament you can imagine, from the garden gnomes to angels and even the grim reaper makes an appearance. Inside, there's lovely timber furniture, bags, clothes, collectable china and glassware, novelty itesm and toys... you name it, it's probably there. When I went, I bought a china doll and some glasses, but a heavy carved bed head and room divider certainly caught my eye. Take the piazza area, for example; Dicey Riley's in the afternoons and evenings is always buzzing with loud and happy people taking in the afternoon sun in the beer garden; Toscani's al fresco dining is doing a roaring trade and the cinema is attracting a crowd. Inside, there are some places we don't see in the other centres, small one-off clothing boutiques and jewellery stores, and big box retailers like Toys R Us, so yep, Garden City's worth a visit every now and then just to keep up and make sure we're not missing out on anything.

Inside the main "hall" of shops there's a small food court, a lot of clothing shops (mainly chains like Cotton On), a Sanity, a discount bookstore, an absolutely mammoth Woolworths, a Coffee Club and Jamaica Blue (coffee shop), a Big W, and a few telecom (Optus & Telstra) and technology shops (the ones that sell things to make your own remote controlled car, etc). It certainly has nothing on Sunshine Plaza for range, but it's extremely clean (hurrah!), is rarely crowded, and has an alright range. Much better than many of the other shopping centres spread over Noosa. Best of all, the carpark is absolutely MASSIVE, so you should never have any trouble getting a park.

I was drawn to this shop by a cute dress in the window and wasn't disappointed by the range of tops and dresses inside. I have bought three items of clothing from here and all are wearing well and not falling apart, I just needed to adjust the straps of one dress and cut a few loose threads of a shirt. I would say the quality of the garments are reasonable and the prices are OK. If you like shopping in "Tree of Life", you'll love this place. Just a tip, the address says "Greenslopes" but it is in the main Stones Corner shopping strip.
