Well, this shopping centre certainly seems to still be in the process of being built, but from what they have so far it does seem rather nice. Then again, it is also located in one of those seaside resorts, which means that it is going to have to cater for a lot of people. However, it does happen to be of a decent size, with a good range of shops as well. So, I guess I'll give it a decent score. read more

My first visit to this mall was a pleasant surprise. I was expecting an outdoor style mall with several walk through areas but it's very large and offers lots of food, may they be fast food mall court style or formal sit down restaurants. A dental and medical storefront was surprising to see but I guess that's national health care in this country. A full fledged travel agency to help book your next holiday aka vacation was full of people looking to find the next getaway. No souvenir shops here, just you everyday standard mall with a grocery store. The sitting areas are more comfortable and frequent than in the States. They allow many opportunities to people watch. read more

Sunshine Plaza - Indoor second floor on a busy Saturday morning - Shopping Centers Near Me - Maroochydore, QLD

One of the better shopping centers in the immediate area. The Sunshine Plaza has some good options for lunch/dinner, the standard assortment of shops, and a handful of entertainment options (cinema, arcade, occasional live music at the restaurants/bars, etc.). Parking is almost always an issue, and doubly so during school holidays. There's just not enough of it. I like the idea of the river-walk, but unfortunately the water in the "river" is never very clean looking. Still, the Sunshine Plaza has a greater variety of food and shops and less of a parking shortage than Kawana Shopping World, which is its only nearby competitor. It's no Chermside, but it gets the job done. read more

This is a favourite of mine while on the Sunshine Coast. Lots of great retail shops and good coffee shops and restaurants.

As far as shopping centres go, this isn't the worst, but it's nowhere near the best. Get in, get out, get the job done. A decent selection of retailers really helps keep this place up and running. The beautiful river flowing down the middle is as beautiful as it is a river: It's actually a creek, and it smells. read more

I love this shopping centre! The variety of stores and food options are great. And it's based around a beautiful river. I make going here for late night a routine with my friends! Definitely the best on sunny coast. It's not huge, but still has many things to do such as going to the cinemas! read more
