I joined the club, paid all money as required, I then need do cancel the contract that was agreed by both parties, they agreed to refund my money, this took weeks & weeks to receive after several phone call over several weeks, however it was finally refunded, then much to my Suprise, they had the audacity to again without asking, withdraw another £60 from my account (in breach of the direct debit regulations), it's now several "MONTHS" later I am still battling to again receive the money back, I have contacted them several times and spoken to a guy (Ben) he claims to of advised the head office to refund my money, again still at war with them, I now unfortunately need to take this further with legal advice. I have been a member at the Riverclub since September2020 and I love it. Everyone is very friendly and I have made lots of friends. I mainly use the pool and love the fact it's never too busy. It's great in the summer as they pull the doors wide open and you can lounge outside on the patio. I use to belong to a very well known club which cost twice the price and am so glad I swapped! read more

Slight disappointment for me. Turned up after TL booked us a free day pass. On arrival they did not know anything about our visit! Filled in a form directed to where the changing rooms were then left to get on with it. Used the gym and had a good run. And thanks to the two guys in the gym who were very helpful and guided us how to use certain pieces of equipment (no instructor was available). Sauna too small, pool looked ok but no real atmosphere and customer service.....well did not find the lady in the cafe / reception area friendly or welcoming. Was wonderful to get back to the pool earlier today for a long awaited swim, it was quiet thankfully and the chilled music being played out of the speakers with the sun coming through onto the water, was bliss. Great club with friendly staff a lovely pool and retractable roof, new equipment also with tennis and golf all included!
