We may not know a lot about horses but we certainly know what loved, well cared for and beautiful horses look like! These animals are beyond loved & stunning! Very small groups. Max are 4 people at a time (at this moment, possibly 5 but one is a new mama.) One person walked next to my son the entire time. They made me feel very safe and comfortable. Ride is approximately 40-45 minutes. It's the perfect amount of time for beginners. I ended up buying a second package so we can go back at the end of our trip. I highly recommend Corbett Farm.

I'm used to going on horse rides where the leader rides in front of the group on their horse and the horses follow. The horses were physically walked by the staff and owner the entire trail and the lead rope wasn't even placed correctly so the horses couldn't take accurate direction we kept getting walked into bushes and low hanging trees. The owner kept yelling directions at staff. It was loud and obnoxious. You could tell the staff didn't appreciate it. Treated us like children. The helmets we used didn't seem sanitary or washed. For a birthday ride it was sub par.

Communication regarding events or work when arena would be closed was very poor forcing boarders to cancel lessons and training. A LOT of yelling between owners family making a stressful environment. Sprinkler system broken very little watering of arena and arena not regularly maintained. Atmosphere is not professional but cold and militant. If you are looking for a relaxing place to board your horse this is not it. If you're looking for a place where you can be rest assured your horse is the first priority and well taken care of don't come here

Kevin and Andy want you to visit the real people, the real thing, so they will take you to real places. The chosen hotels and restaurants are modest, family run businesses. Excursions and their guides are carefully selected to give you an insight into the country and what makes it tick. Kendi goes all out to pave the way so you can enjoy each moment. And, did I mention how reasonable their prices are? These trips are value packed! If you're used to high end hotels and lazing around a pool all day (There is some of that), this isn't it. The emphasis is on a small group adventure, yet both times I have felt so safe and cared for. Kendiworldadventures.com shows you exactly what you'll do. Just go! Make new friends and/or bring your old ones. Pura vida!

Andi and Kevin (the tour guides and world travelers) have thoroughly vetted this trip so that there are no surprises (except delightful ones!). Picture yourself walking among the thin mists of a rainforest at treetop level or...swaying rhythmically atop a gentle horse as you explore the flanks of a volcano...or having a small, delightful monkey on your shoulder eating banana from your hand. Just as great are the serendipitous moments (getting caught in the rain at an open air market, eating barbequed yucca for the first time, wading in the warm surf while iguanas lounge in beachside trees). I am sure the group I toured with must have been the best in the world (but I am also sure that any group that tours with Kevin and Andi will say the same). Perhaps, the best thing is that it is YOUR tour. It can be as "zip line" exciting or as "lounge by the pool" relaxing as you choose. As they say in Costa Rica, PURA VIDA, the good life !

These people…read moreknow what they are doing with horses, obviously consider safety a priority, and try to create a happy atmosphere at the barn. Horses are turned out daily in herds or individual paddocks, except in really bad weather. When horses have any health issues, they are quick to notice, tend to the horse, and get in touch with the owners if serious. They offer affordable self-care as well as full-care, and are super flexible with turning out and care, so that your horse is cared for as you wish. For a control freak like me who likes to choose my own food and feed my girl myself, it doesn't get any better. The people who board here are super-duper nice, too, and some of the people running the joint also offer lessons. If you are just getting started with horses I highly recommend getting lessons from either Jessica or Becca - the lessons are affordable and the young women are fun! The location is essentially at 190th and Foster, so it is closer in than just about anywhere that I've checked out (and I did a lot of looking for the right place when I moved). The only reason I've knocked off a star is that the arena is on the small side and the place could use some updating/work that doesn't get done because they don't own it. Nothing dangerous, mind you - any dangerous repairs are attended to immediately - but some things could be done to better winterize the place and cut down on mud at the pasture entrances. In all, though, I am definitely happy with this facility and the people here, and will board here as long as I can!
