Off the Wagon is a super fun local toy store. My boyfriend and I stopped in on a whim to wander…read morewhile on foot in Downtown Chagrin Falls, and were blown away by the warmness of this store. We don't have any kids in our lives we were shopping for, yet still were entranced with how much fun we had! You can find nearly anything in this beautifully curated store. We found ourselves spending a lot of time browsing the adult-friendly puzzles and proclaiming that we wanted to complete 100 different ones. You could easily find a beautiful gift in here for a child or adult alike and I felt inspired for future Christmas gifts. Other standout areas included the kitschy toys meant to make you giggle, and the large selection of fun stuffed animals. I am still actively thinking about the absolutely adorable dog in a space suit and regretting not buying it for myself. The store is very well-organized and the staff are excited to chat with you. Truly a gem of Downtown Chagrin Falls!

We loved the section with adult socks, mugs, soaps, games, plushies and more! They were very punny and would make great gifts for coworkers or friends! I also absolutely loved their collection of plush toys. There were typical stuffed animals, mythical creatures, food, viruses and they ranged in prices and sizes. Most were items I haven't seen in other stores and there was even a really cute and high end Axolotl weighted toy that caught my eye! They also had puzzles, board games, dice, marbles, pop culture/ fandom merchandise (like Grogu, Star Wars, and Studio Ghibli items) and they had some fun candies and drinks too! If you're looking for gifts this is a great spot to check out!

Wild Iris Home is the hidden gem in Olde Avon Village. It feels like I constantly ask friends…read morewhether they heard of Wild Iris, and they don't know what I'm talking about. Time to tell the world after visiting Wild Iris a few times now! AMBIANCE: Wild Iris is a two-story building that features multi-room shopping on the first floor and event space on the second floor. Both spaces are tastefully staged. You can really picture how the items would look in your own home and get new decoration ideas. The store is comprised of multiple rooms with an assortment of home decor. There is no particular separate theme (such as housewares in one room). There is a kids room, but other than that every nook has home decor, clothing, skincare, jewelry, housewares, and more. It's fun to walk around the space and look for treasures. The event space is available for rental for events and photoshoots. During my last visits there for shopping and entrepreneurial events, the event space had industrial chic look and plush couches. The space was very presentable for a professional yet stylish setting. There were plenty of spaces to sit down and network. I'm not confident whether this space is decorated for the holiday for your photoshoots or events, check with the venue. INVENTORY: The inventory looks refined and expensive. Yet there are plenty of finds under $40 for gifting or self-splurging. The store has seasonal gifts for every occasion. The store currently has ample Christmas inventory - decorative pillows, Christmas ornaments, faux gingerbreads, Christmas China, deer decor, and more. I'll be returning to shop for two cool things I've seen and reflected on. One, Christmas ornament for White Elephant exchange. Two, paper Christmas decor ($30 something). The latter is a very cute set that will work for my decor. I have a cat, and he loves to take down and nibble on decorations hence paper trees. SERVICE: The service is always friendly. I always get greeted with a friendly attitude. PARKING: Olde Avon Village has ample parking, multiple parking lots. It is a little challenging to find the entrance to the plaza, watch signage closely. NEARBY ATTRACTIONS: You can make a day out of your visit to Olde Avon Village and Wild Iris. There are plenty of places to eat and entrain! I recommend Tree House Gallery and Tea Room, or Chez Michel for a warm beverage and lunch. Both are in the same plaza and within walking distance. I recommend visiting Wild Iris for decorating your own home or gifting. You can get gifts for multiple people on your list at this store. The store really has one-of-a-kind and gorgeous items!

What can I say other than, wow…read more From the wonderful welcome at the front door with dueling propane heater flumes to the patient and kind front staff as you walk in, it's immersive to say the very least. This isn't just a "thing to do" it's a genuine experience. I came with my daughter (7 - her first time) and it was fabulous. From the welcoming staff at the front desk to the 2 forge specialists (Dominic and Lindy) that spent their time, patience and experience with my daughter, to the dinner we had next door afterward at M Italian (I understand not affiliated but it was a collective evening for us), it was perfect. My daughter was at first a bit reserved but quickly empowered through the confidence building of Dominic and Lindy leading her through the process, encouraging and guiding her to what will always be a great night for her. She truly enjoyed everything about it and talked about it all throughout dinner. I cannot fully express the absolute joy I felt in seeing her smile and interest. I took many photos and videos all of which we've still been talking about and reliving together. The atmosphere is fun, exciting and welcoming. The creative opportunity to see your daughter (or yourself) create something from basically simplistic foundational elements is quite invigorating and fun! I cannot more highly recommend everyone try this at least once. For us, this will now be a regular excursion and Daddy/Daughter date. I look forward to bringing her again in the very near future. Thank you Glass Asylum, we will be coming back again and again!

Love the selection of international candies, sodas and snacks but would love more if they also had more savory items. This time the sale section was abundant and had savory items like instant cup noodles and chips! Between the BF and me, we cleared that section out, hahaha! We finally signed up for their rewards but because Medina is so dang far from both of us, their expiration on the points you earn is only 1.5 months or something, which is quite ridiculous! Make the points never expire and encourage people to come in every once in a while to redeem! I did hear about an Independence location opening so I'll probably check that out!
