They serve a wide range of draught and bottled beers, alcopops, wines and a full bar of spirits. The service is friendly and professional and the clientele range from students right the way up to oldies. It's a good family pub for the afternoons and it has a huge beer garden which is great for a sunny day or a cold and wet one if you're a smoker or an amphibian. All in all it's a friendly place and its child friendly in the daytimes for a family lunch.

I wouldn't recommend this pub for a family day out or a young crowd on a night out at the weekend; it's more of a place to go for a quiet pint or two with a couple of friends or alone. No messing around in this place either, as it's well known as the watering hole of all the local police! Super tasty quality food, I noticed that on the menu it even tells you which farm the meat came from, or where the ice cream was made etc. The Greek Lamb and the Gammon are both brilliant. The portions are huge and I'm always left with enough food for another meal but save room for the Holly Bush sundae because you wont ever have a such a selection of tasty locally made ice cream :) The prices are great too, last time I went it was around 30quid for the 2 of us.
