They have a pub quiz once a week which is very popular and always mad busy, they also have a huge selection on their menu, which includes many pub favourites including burgers, steaks and grills. They serve a wide range of draught and bottled beers, alcopops, wines and a full bar of spirits. The service is friendly and professional and the clientele range from students right the way up to oldies. It's a good family pub for the afternoons and it has a huge beer garden which is great for a sunny day or a cold and wet one if you're a smoker or an amphibian. All in all it's a friendly place and its child friendly in the daytimes for a family lunch.

Owner needs to step down a level and realise he wouldn't be where he is without his customers, defiantly down hill since the handover.

I wouldn't recommend this pub for a family day out or a young crowd on a night out at the weekend; it's more of a place to go for a quiet pint or two with a couple of friends or alone. Super tasty quality food, I noticed that on the menu it even tells you which farm the meat came from, or where the ice cream was made etc. The Greek Lamb and the Gammon are both brilliant.
