He is incredibly honest,…read moreunderstands the local housing market, pays close attention to detail, seems to enjoy the hustle, and has an engaging personality. I also needed to select a broker/realtor with a true problem solver mindset, as I had a unique set of issues regarding selling my late mother's condo. Boyd proved to be perfect here too. He provided me with the legal details and repair concerns that I needed, promptly. He even lined up a contractor for me.

It may not have been the intention of our realtor, but when we feel like low-priority clients, it is not a good start. Especially when our realtor mentioned that she was showing houses to other clients with higher budgets. We understand that realtors are busy right now in the current market, but it is not beneficial to make your clients feel like they are peasants. Our common complaint was that our (main) realtor NEVER listened to us. We would mention things that we liked or wanted, but she would typically just go along with what she preferred anyway. For example, when it came down to accepting an offer on our listed home, we expressed interest in one of the offers. Instead, she wanted us to choose the competing offer because she preferred working with the other listing agent. Huge mistake. We ended up paying for it - literally. This particular offer requested that we pay a daily rent rate. We again expressed to our realtor that we did not like or agree with this arrangement. She told us to move forward with this offer because the buyers offered $5K more. Which in the end, only benefited her. Overall, we partially blame ourselves for continuing to work with the Dwellings team and not dismiss them right from the start. This was a huge learning process for us and lesson learned - we will never work with this team again. This was such a dreadful and stressful process for us to go through, it is not one that we would like to remember. As first time homebuyers, we were hoping to work with a realtor that we could trust and one that would guide us through the process. Unfortunately for us, this was not the case.

My place is spacious, full of light and has plenty of storage space. Any of my friends that visit comment on how much they wish they lived here. The train tracks are very close and yes, you can hear the train, but it's not problematic at all. Utility prices are great. Water is included and the way the units are built, gas is completely reasonable. If you're considering buying a unit here, don't hesitate!

This building is beautiful. Built on the site where the Daisy Air Rifle factory once stood, the…read moreDaisy Square Lofts are the prefect place to call home. The building is secure from the outside and well maintained. Hallways and stairwells are cleaned frequently. Lofts are are adequately sized and modern with quality appliances. There is an enclosed underground parking garage that they keep heated in the winter. All units have nice sized balconies, from which you can hear music from downtown in the summer or watch the train roll by daily. There is also an in-building dry cleaning pick-up service. Let's not forget that Bode's Corned Beef is just a stone throw away. Keep in mind, Downtown Plymouth is .4 miles, which makes for easy walks between home and the restaurants/bars. It's so convenient to check out the Farmer's Market, Ice Festival, Fall Festival, Art Fair, Summer Concert, or any of the other multitude of events going on downtown. Why didn't I give it 5-Stars? Well, until you get used to it, plan on being woken in the middle of the night by the train. It has no sympathy for sleepers. Even after almost a year the long horn blasts at 4am would jar me from the deepest slumber. Also, the units are loft style. The plus is that it feels very large and open, and airflow is excellent. However, because the walls between rooms don't go all the way to the ceiling sound from one room can be heard in any other room as if it's in the same room. This can be problematic when different TV shows are being watched, one person is studying or trying to sleep while another person is active. In summary, this is what I've found to be the best place in the downtown Plymouth area to live, short of getting a place in Kellogg Park. but for the cost, it's probably better! Have an opportunity to get a unit in this building? Take it.
