Fortunate and extremely happy.....Two words I would use to describe our experience with Cathie Richards and her team. As life goes in the military there comes a time when you are required to pick up and move to a new installation or duty assignment and most often much quicker than expected/wanted.. My wife and I purchased what we consider our dream home only to be reassigned two years later. We've had the misfortune of using three different management agencies in Augusta, GA, and they didn't do what was expected, asked or paid to do and at times taken advantage of. So when we received our orders to depart Fort Gordon, we were apprehensive and a little worried that our home would not be looked after based on our previous management agency. Not sure who it was or how we came across Cathie Richards but all we can say is, it was a blessing. When we first met Cathie, we were taken a little back when she described what she expected from Both tenants and US as owners. My wife and I wondered why she was so strict but after a couple conversations with Ms Richards, we took the plunge. All we can say is, THANK GOD!!!!!! There was not a month that went by that we ever worried about our home or finding a renter. Cathie took extra care in finding, screening, and selecting each new tenants. What the Richards Group required of each renter, was the same care and responsibilities that we had for our home. Despite being states away or deployed to combat, Cathie never wavered when it came to tenant issues or concerns for our home from us. Cathie's group of talented and very capable professionals went above and beyond what I would consider a management's responsibility. After each tenant departed the home, it was always required to be put back into the same state it was when they got it. If the tenants did not keep up with the requirements of the Home Owners Association, Cathie corrected it immediately. If something went wrong or if the home needed repairs, Cathie and her team fixed them immediately and at a very minimal charge, which was wonderful and always a big concern. I really can't say enough about Cathie and her team. We eventually (six years later) decided to sell our home, once again, Cathie went above and beyond. All I can say about the Richards Group is, if you need a management agency, realtor, or just someone who can get things done, go with Cathie and her team because you will not be disappointed. My wife and I hated to say goodbye to Cathie and her team after we sold our home but she would be our first and only choice if we moved back to the area. Cathie was highly recommended to my husband and I from two of our best friends who had bought a house last year and we are SO happy she was! We worked with her and Frank Lee on buying our first home and we couldn't have been more pleased. She really helped us find exactly what we wanted, she really listens to your wants/needs and gives you honest advice. Walking though homes I was amazed at things she was able to point out that would eventually become a problem or cost a ton to fix, things I would have never seen. She truly cares about you and finding whats best, we always felt so comfortable with her. When we finally found the perfect house for us it came down to the wire with another interested party putting in an offer at the same time, we came very close to missing out but thanks to Cathie and her team and their quick actions we got the contract drawn up and signed and thankfully we got the house! We rented a house with Cathie (The Richards Group Real Estate) and once our lease was up we decided it was time to purchase a home. Cathie assisted my wife and I in finding the perfect house in the perfect location when it was time to move and she assisted us in every way possible; She made purchasing a home enjoyable and stress free. She has always kept us well informed of any issues, that have arisen, and what needed to be done, to take care of the issues. Once, we decided to sell our house, Cathie walked us through the process.
