It was amazing to see things so well planned out and making every foot count. Loved the bold colors. The lobby has coffee, breakfast noshes. Something for everyone..LOVED their coffee. The only negative I could find is the no pets rule. That said, it is understandable the reluctance of having chancing ill-mannered pets and their owners about these days. On the 2nd floor is another unlocked, uncovered door that has a balcony butted up to yours. You could step over and be in your space. With the Orgy shower sitting right in the middle of the floor between the 2 bedrooms was a little P Diddy for us regular folks. All the track lights makes it hard to find their cameras. There is no breakfast and the bar is a joke at best.Why people lie about live entertainment blows me away. It looked like an old Folks home TV room. They advertise a pool table. It is a private table and on the 3rd floor of the Trifecta room. No access for other customers. The pool room butts up to the P Diddy bedroom. Balls were broke and hollering went on til very late. The lady who they say is an owner(that's what this site says) gave me a very furred brow when I ask about the advertised table and where it was. (To say rude would be fair) I knew there was a pool adjacent to my bedroom because I heard it til late. Lastly... we were there on a Monday and nothing was opened. NOTHING!!!!! So for this business to advertise that other places are in walking distance is again very misleading. First off PIGGY BACKING off other businesses with your baseless claims of availability is a bit fraudulent. This whole thing is misleading. There was NO parking for us behind a condo. We had to park on the street and haul our stuff a city block before we started the multiple flights of stairs to the room. As town was dead this was still unacceptable as it is clearly stated on the site that parking was available and free. If town had anything going on we would have had NOWHERE to park.. When we arrived there had been an error made somewhere between Expedia and the Hotel. We were going to have to move rooms. There was no way that was going to happen. The young man on 2nd shift worked very quickly to get that second night cancelled and was very professional about the error.That is what 1 star is for. Just not my jam and after reading the other comments I would never try any of these other rooms either. Safety first. Lipstick on a pig is still a pig.

They had a nice breakfast, pancakes, eggs, sauage, biscuts and gravy, plus pastries, cereal, juice and coffee. They also have a popcorn machine in the lobby. There is an outdoor pool and a small area with a few chairs outside of the breakfast area for fresh air or smoking.

Check-in was efficient, and the staff was exceptionally helpful. Throughout our stay, we experienced no issues with the water supply, electrical, or sewage systems. Our pull-through site accommodated our 35-foot trailer without difficulty. While the Wi-Fi, as is common in RV parks, was not optimal for streaming, it was sufficient for basic phone and tablet use. The water had a noticeable chlorine taste, but our in-line filter and Brita pitcher resolved this. Paducah was conveniently located, offering a wider selection of stores and restaurants than anticipated. The campground offered various activities during our visit. Each morning, a vendor sold fresh baked goods, jams, and jellies, which we found to be very good. Mark Cope provided a BBQ wagon, and his BBQ and potato salad were also excellent. The park also hosted an ice cream social and a wine tasting by "Purple Toad Winery," a family-owned winery in Paducah, KY. There is a lake on-site where fishing is available, and bait is sold. We will certainly choose Fern Lake Campground for our next visit.

The event hall is located close to the Ohio River (always a plus!) and appears to be very small from the outside. We parked on the street directly across from the venue, I didn't see an easily accessible parking lot connected to the building for guest use but there is public parking on the street and behind the flood wall. When you first walk inside there is a small reception type desk on your left and bathrooms on your right. Go through the main doors and there is a very spacious area complete with carpet and hardwood floors. The walls have mirrored archways to help give space to the venue; there is lots of ceiling space and great acoustics! The main focal point I noticed was the bar (no, not just because I fancy a drink or three) because of the giant wood banisters and it just gives that old time feel. This place was a nice little venue (there was about 50-60 people) thats updated, very clean, and close to the river. Bonus points: there is a small arts district and that quaint downtown feel a few blocks over! My husband and I both decided we were coming back for a small weekend trip to explore all the restaurants and museums we drove by!
